Addendum to my first review. 4Patriots made everything right! The first can of freeze dried rice arrived dented so it was not good for long term storage as the can was compromised. 4Patriots reached out to me after seeing my bad review, apologized for the poor shipping condition, and replaced the rice at no extra charge. The replacement arrived in pristine condition. I have lots of 4Patriots products and they are top quality but they are emergency food so have to be stored properly to survive 30 years. Great customer service.

The dehydrated meat is very good I highly recommend this product because I bought from them before good price.

At the time of this review, this product described primarily as "Freeze-Dried White Rice #10 Can" which isn't a meaningful title unless it can be compared to similarly-described products, which are typically cooked, freeze dried, and then are near-instant in reconstituting with boiling water. This rice is ordinary rice that might be freeze dried before being cooked, which would be pointless. Why even call it freeze dried? Terribly misleading for an ordinary product priced at a premium price that also suggest that it is in fact freeze dried in the way people would expect.

I like the packaging and ease of storage.
