I bought these for a fish tank. They have worked out well. I got the mixed color 5 pound bag. The stones are very clean out of the bag. I did let them soak over night in a vinegar and water solution since they were going into an aquarium. They are a nice mix of colors, some with a very interesting mixes of color in one stone. They are nicely smoothed and polished. Most are an inch and a half to two inches in size. I am pretty pleased with the affect in my tank, I have them scattered in groups on regular gravel. The negatives; I was annoyed they are from China, for gosh sakes you'd think river stones purchased in the USA would come from at least the Northern Hemisphere. Also I just think its crazy to pay what it was for 5 pounds of rocks. I do give these a high rating, and would probably buy them again possibly.
