When I went for a short drive on the Saturday the cable popped off again several times and I realised this was going to be a reoccurring issue. Google then led me to ‘these’ products. This has arrived by Sunday afternoon having ordered Saturday evening, and to be honest I’d say the quality of this is fairly decent. I fitted it in about 15 minutes as it’s quite fiddly but once on it doesn’t look like it’s going to bend or come loose and fits perfectly. I’ve given my stick a bashing this evening and it feels amazing, and I’ve also tested the gearstick. I have also ordered a UK one off eBay too that tells you not to buy these ‘cheap Chinese ones’ but having fitted this (which was cheap, and is made in China) I won’t be replacing it - and this Uk one it not going to arrive until Tues/Wedd so I’d have been without a van. For £6 if you need one quickly, this is brilliant and I’d be surprised if it didn’t last as long as the cable/van does but if not I’ll use the UK one which may or may not be better quality.
