Grafters Mens Leather Ankle Boots

Beautiful and fantastic. One happy dude.

These are not the monkey boots I remember. The monkey boots I had as a kid had a more rounded toe like a combat boot. These had a more pointed toe. Please add more pics from different angles including top view on Amazon to reflect the actual product you get when you order these. After waiting 2 1/2weeks for them only to find they don't look like the boots pictured is very disappointing. The yellow laces are mine. Not very comfortable, rubbing heel. Will try wiping down with salt water and saddle soap. I might take the heel pad off my old running shoes and sew it to the back top of the boots. Amazon and seller have offered $ compensation for my troubles. Otherwise I would have returned them.

At least the sole is close.I purchased a pair recently that had lugs omitted,making a heel and not the wedge design.I have been wearing Monkey boots continuously since 1981.Ive had at least 60+ pairs over this time. These are my tennis shoes! The problem I have with the grafters design is the lining. It’s great for insulation, but it changes the shoe size for me.Cosmetically, they look very close to the Czechoslovakian shoe I’ve been wearing for four decades.Small grafters logo on sole doesn’t bother me. I haven’t given them the kitchen floor test… Nothing like a monkey boot skidmark! If you know, you know.

Sometime recently the style must have changed. First two times ordered, looked as shown picture as original style. Ordered twice more a received a different product from India rather than Czechia, both were returned due to being much stiffer, tighter, and thick liner.
