Can this pen also be used to dip in an ink jar?

I'll try to answer your question - as a fountain pen, it has a refillable cartridge that you can 'dip' the pen tip into an ink jar and twist the cartridge knob to draw the ink into it.As for using it as a traditional (calligraphy) dipping pen, the answer is no. I presume you meant the former answer, but I hope that both help - enjoy! :)

Where can I get a replacement nib for this pen? I want a fine nib but I am having trouble finding what nib to get. Is brand name ideapool?

How does it work? How do you get it to write?

Unscrew the nib (tip) from the barrel. The cartridge inside should be inserted firmly into the nib. Place the nib in a bottle of ink and slowly turn the wheel on the ink cartridge to draw the ink in - or you can buy ink cartridges for the pen. Write with the pen by placing the point on paper and commencing to write. The point of the writing instrument will eventually conform to the way you write. Use good quality paper for best results.

Broke within a few days...

I’m very disappointed with this pen. I was loving it until I opened it up and soaked my hands in ink. It was very random. I wiped off all the ink, it was fine until I realized a slight bend in the pen where the plastic end of the nib and the bottom half of the wood. I looked into it, and I unscrewed it. Bam. Snaps in two. What a joke. I think I was just unlucky after paying quite the price.
