We were hit by hurricane beryl in Houston and I had used it once before (to start a go kart) it worked. I bought it end of June 2024 and when the hurricane hit we needed to use it to charge phone and the light would have helped ALOT but it didn’t even turn on. Tried charging and. Nothing. Even after power was restored still wouldn’t even charge. If you want something that’s going to help you in an emergency this is NOT it.

I have used this jump box several times since I have received it. I have a 2001 dodge ram with a 5.2 engine. I don't drive it much and the battery drains when it sits. So far I have used it on my truck 3 or 4 times and I jumped my riding lawn mower with it all on the initial charge. The last time I used it it was at 38%. I think that is great and I didn't have to drag out my old jumper cables. I am happy with the box. I tried the phone charger cables and they worked good too on an Android phone and an iPhone

When I first received this I was impressed by the carrying case and how light and portable it is. I like the fact that it takes up very little space and will be easy to store in my van or car. I like the extra power ports and cables that come with it that not only allow you to jump a vehicle but also charge or power a number of devices.The one main issue I have is the length of the positive and negative jumper cables themselves. If you look at the 4th and 5th picture I posted with this review you can see the cables are not very long. I think this will be an issue with my van but not my car as the car has positive and negative jump points close to each other by the van does not. Hopefully just attaching the black negative cable to a close by grounded point on the van will be enough to power the battery so it will start.Overall I really like this Battery Jump Starter kit and hope too use it soon. But I can only give it a 4 out of 5 because of the length of the cables.

TL;DRPros: Nice large carrying case that can fit more goodies in there if you need to, large capacity, good CCA rating that seems to be on point, complete package with a neat charger cable...Cons: The Compass seems oddly out of place as well as ugly, but that's not a deal breaker, it is just what it is. Cables for jumping could be a little longer to help make it easier or for funky terminal situations, but don't get me wrong, the one it comes with should work for like 98% of people if not 99%.This unit is unassuming looking but packs some features that are neat to be included for the asking price. It has a flashlight built in, so that helps, it also features two charging USB ports, one with QC3.0 and the other a smart 2.4A standard 5V, but with smart stuff, and it worked as it was supposed to for both! So, if you have a compatible QC (Quick Charge) device, it should work all the way to QC 3.0 level, cool beans. The input is a standard 5V/2A input, I charged using a smart/intelligent charger and it went at a good pace.One neat feature is the USB ports have indicator lights to show their usage, and their real-time! So for instance, if you attach an LED light/lamp to it, that uses switching to create the dimming effect, you will see the flickering in real-time on the display of this unit, the words "QC3.0 or USB" will light/flicker every time the port goes on or off, in the case of one of those lamps, it's many many times a second, I thought that was neat that it showed that in real-time is all. It could be useful to determine if a device is having trouble, by seeing if it goes on and off on its own a lot or what not.Another neat thing, the charging cable that comes with it allows you to connect any phone/device, it has a connector built-into for everything under the sun, like 6 types, I think. So, you're covered. And it comes with a charging brick and a cable for that as well that goes to the battery during charging. It also includes a handy, brief, but understandable manual.As for the jumping, it's easy, and it worked when I tested it on an old vehicle that always needs a jump at around 500CCA. This unit jumped it no problem, the first time, confidently and without any sparks or safety concerns, and since it has built-in reversal/shock protection you can relax while you are making the connections, you can't mess it up, it won't let you.Overall, this is going to make a terrific addition to my emergency roadside kit that I keep in my car. Well worth it for the price they are asking IMO.

Will not hold a charge at all. Display only lights up when on charge but shows zero percent consistently. Going to try to return item and hopefully it will be refunded or replaced. Very disappointed.
