I wear a size 7w in chacos and wanted to try on the kids size 5 to see if they were the same fit. (Heard they were) and they are! I’m so happy I decided to go for it. Half the price and I got a fun color I’ve been searching for. The base is thinner/lighter than the women’s but the straps were easier to adjust. They are super comfortable like my 7w chacos. I’m very pleased. Yussss!

Recently I went to Europe and Israel for 3 weeks. I had always heard that Chacos are amazing so I bought these and only brought these on the trip. I brought no other shoes including flip flops or tennis shoes! These suited my needs so perfectly; you might want something fancier for somewhere like Italy but they were amazing for walking. I went to St. Peter's Basilica/Vatican City and my feet didn't hurt when everyone else's did. They were also perfect for hiking in Switzerland (I added socks lol) and going through Hezekiah's tunnel in Israel. The only thing I couldn't wear them for was inside the Dead Sea because of all the mud, you couldn't really wear shoes. For everything else we did they were perfect, comfy, water, tennis shoes that were shaped like sandals and waterproof. They also looked great with every outfit and were so comfortable. I also wore these on 8 planes. Recently I also went to Dollywood and they were perfect for every ride, especially the water ones. They stayed on perfectly when I rode horses as well. Would recommend these for any summer adventure.

This is Chaco's best kept secret: Women can buy kids' sizes at half the price of the women's shoe. I wear a woman's size 8 and I purchased a youth size 6. It was a little more difficult to find a size 6 in a color option that I liked; there were many more options for a size 5 (women's 7).That said, I love these shoes! I've previously had two pair of Chacos, both which had the toe strap. I couldn't wear them for long periods of time because they made my feet ache around my toe. This pair is incredibly comfortable. I bought these to replace a pair of Teva Hurricanes. The Teva's were comfortable, but their color selections currently are terrible.I consider myself somewhat of a shoe snob because I have such high arches, good shoes are hard to find. I can wear these all day and be perfectly comfortable. They are super cute and go with A LOT of things.My only complaint is that the straps seem to shift on their own so they become to tight across the toes after several wears. It's easy to re-adjust them, though.

Product wears well while walking. Bought for my daughters, they love them. They stay on their feet comfortably and seem true to size.

I'm writing an early review and will update later on comfort/durability. My family is going on a little trip to Branson so I've been hunting for just the right shoes that would be not only comfortable for walking around all day, but also to get wet in. I ordered myself and my 7 year old daughter a pair of chacos and my 3 boys got Tevas. I struggled with choosing a size when ordering. Some reviews say to order down a size, some say true to size and others swear by ordering up. I wear a women's 8 so I bought my chacos in an 8 and they are a perfect fit! That being said, my daughter wears a children's size 2 so that's what I ordered. Yeah......no. They were way to big on her. There was no way to even adjust them tight enough to make them work. I returned them and reordered a size 1. They will be here Friday and I'm praying for a better fit because I wanted us all to have time to break them in well before we left to make sure they didn't leave blisters. I will say, the quality was excellent. They were the same as mine as far as quality and adjustability. The Tevas I ordered for my boys won't be here until Saturday so my fingers are crossed for them. They have similar mixed reviews on sizing. Why does it have to be so hard??

Walking many miles this summer and these are the most comfortable sandals with good arch support

I truly appreciate the strap that goes across my foot. It provides more support than a normal flip flops. Very comfortable; I wear them year round.
