HOW THIS WORKS:PACKING:* Order these stickers with QR codes* Download the Elephant Trax application to your iPhone or Android phone and create an account.* On the app, click the "Pack" box on the app.* Click the "Camera" icon which allows you to either take a picture of the item you're going to put in a box, or you can take pictures in advance and then search for the picture on your phone.* After you have finished taking pictures of each of the items that you've packed, you click the first icon which shows all the pictures that have not yet been assigned to a box.* Click on each of the pictures of items you've packed in the box and a red check mark shows you which items you've selected.* Place one of the QR stickers on the box, click "Scan QR" on the app, and place the phone by the QR code. And there are other features I won't mention, like browsing the boxes, or adding keywords.WHAT I DID PRIOR TO ELEPHANT TRAX:In the past when I have moved, I had written down, on a piece of paper, each item I had packed in the box. Then I typed it out on the PC, and for the movers, I printed the name of the room that the box was going to and then taping to the box. (You should always label boxes on all sides of the rooms so it's easy for the movers when they are unloading).It was always a time consuming process so for THIS move, I thought this time I would try this Elephant Trax method because it seemed very simple and very easy in order to find the boxes with the things I have packed.OPINION OF "ELEPHANT TRAX" AFER MY MOVE:I had dozens of boxes and what I found using the system is that I had so much to pack that it was virtually impossible, and extremely time consuming to take pictures of every single item I put in a box. I also found that I was wrapping and then packing the items in a box and forgetting to take the pictures. Sometimes I unwrapped the items to take the pictures when I realized I forgot the pictures and sometimes I didn't unwrap them. When I got to my new residence I really found the system completely useless because I didn't take pictures of every single item.SUMMARY:I think this is a great system if you are just moving a few things or storing just a few things but this is definitely not a system for a major move.I feel it adds a LOT more time than it did for me to jot down each item, type on the computer and then print the sheet to the box. Maybe to some, this whole system I use, either typing the items or using this QR system is overkill, but when you have a tremendous amount things and you've got 4 dozen boxes and you're looking for a particular item before unpacking everything, you don't really know which box has the item you may be looking for.

I have an android phone and the first time I used the Qr code it didn't save the pictures to the code but I just watched the video on how to use and it helped out better and I use the codes for storage and makes it a lot easier to find the exact stuff u need to find. I would recommend it.

When it comes to moving I’m extremely organized and very diligent about marking boxes. Writing down everything in every box and labeling the boxes is very time consuming. I first saw this product a couple years ago and thought how cool is that! At that time I wanted it’s just for using it on attic storage. The labels were sold out. My husband and I are now in the process of packing to move and I decided to try again to get the labels. I am so glad I did. Just a few boxes in and it is obvious how easy it’s going to be to not only pack and label the boxes but to find things as we unpack in the new house.One recommendation for improvement that I have, please allow the ability to share among multiple users. I still work but my husband is retired and it would be great if he had access to the same account so that as he’s packing during the day and I’m not here he can assign items to boxes. The only way for us to do that is for me to give him my Google log on. Not an issue between us, I’m just thinking that it would be much easier if he could use his own Google login.

App has limited functionality — thought I’d be able to view all my boxes and their contents within the app but weirdly enough you can only view the full archive of photos you took but not the list of boxes you assigned them to. You can’t even search by box from within the app. I think this is a good product for moving but not to keep track of home inventory. Product does what it says though, just nothing more

The media could not be loaded.  I was very happy with the price of these and they shipped in just a few days. The app is easy to use. Pretty straight forward. It does load and delete a little slow but I feel like that's with any technology. I bought one pack to use for my kitchen and basement food storage to track what I have. I have deep cabinets and pantry and stuff will sit back there for years and not be used. It has been a life saver for organizing. I have a deep freezer and have NO idea what's in the bottom so scanning the QR code on top and I can see everything right away. Makes it easy to meal plan, not buy what I already have and also, show my kids the picture and say "go down and grab "this"'. They bring up the right thing right away. It was pretty easy to label and upload but I go through my food pretty fast so "updating" it really isn't ideal with how slow the app loads. But I can do inventory once every few weeks and match up what I have, make a grocery list... etc. I bought more and they are on order for the decoration and clothes storage boxes I have in my basement/attic. You can open the app in real time and see what you have without going to the QR code location and scanning. So I'll know what location its in just by opening the app and/or searching.. Awesome feature!! I think they will be IDEAL for that project since I'm not in and out of those boxes. I am super happy with this product outside if the app loading/deleting slow.Edit to update: I stopped using the app because it was loading too slow. It's worth it if you have the time and patience to update storage boxes but keeping up all inventory for food and learned to be to difficult for my busy chaotic lifestyle.

We just moved to another state and used these labels. I used all of them and they never repeated. They're easy for my camera to read and easy to use in the app. The app itself is hit or miss. I had a lot of issues with it at first, where it just wouldn't be responsive. But after an update it worked great. The pictures are absolutely terrible though. They look like they were taken underwater, with plastic in front of the lense. Which is weird, because when you take the picture, before you confirm attaching it to that label, it's perfect. But something happens after that seriously messes with it so bad you can't tell what it is. My one tip is to make sure you put your room tag in your keywords, and make sure you type things the same each time. If you do a search for shoes, it'll show you shoes, but won't show you Shoes or SHOES. It's very specific. Aside from those few things, this were awesome and I'll definitely purchase them again.

I have a lot of knick knacks (games and crafting items especially) and wanted a quick and clean way to keep track of everything. Planned to write lists but then coincidentally stumbled over this and got so excited! I HAD TO have this.It arrived yesterday and now on Day 2 I'm already at the end of my patience. Here's why:- app doesn't keep you logged in. I "saved" my email, but have to relog every time I open it. I've had to log back in 2x at least within 10 minutes as I had to close the app.- incredibly laggy. And I mean, INCREDIBLY laggy. My phone isn't old and I have the latest Android OS but this app acts like I'm trying to play a 60fps open world game on a literal potato.- app freezes and crashes. There's a 12 image upload limit which I wouldn't mind if it wasn't for the fact that even that is too much. Even at 5 images the app was freaking out on me.- app actually caused my phone to crash. Admittedly I had 20 images in my unassigned (which shouldn't be a lot, given that people pack/store more than that, no?) but that wasn't even half of my items in that unit yet...- the layout while entering keywords is kind of iffy as the image is cropped with a lot of empty space above it. Couldn't read some crucial information on the image while tagging them, but that's a personal issue (and I took care of it by checking the full image in my album, though that put me at risk of losing progress if the app closed/logged me out in the meantime...).- maybe it's the lag, but I seem to only ever be able to search for ONE tag at a time. While I can avoid that by expanding the tags on each image I really wish, given the variety and type of my items, that I could enter more than one. Again, this might be caused by lag, but the few times I got the app to function long enough to try it only let me use 1 and showed nothing for 2 (tags separated by space or comma made no difference), despite me using tags I JUST entered & even making sure it's case sensitive.- I wish there was a PC/Browser version. Uploading images is easy enough but tagging would be easier on a keyboard. I can live without this feature, but it would help tremendously.- you can only tag 1 image at a time (unless lag got me once again). I tried marking 3 images that needed some of the same tags and hit Keywords. But it made me do it for each individually which gets tedious fast.. Something I could still live without if it wouldn't lag so badly. I've spent hours now getting 25 items into 1 code, I'm not even halfway done and half the time scanning the code gives me an empty box. The other half it does display the items, but it takes several seconds to even get to scroll one line, and that's assuming it won't freeze.I really really wanted to love this, and I still do, but it's so painfully unusable for me that I just can't give it any stars. I hope there is or will be a fix/improvement and I'll change my review accordingly.Given it's only 8 bucks for 40 labels it might be worth a try for people with very few items, or maybe their phones are supercomputers... I might just be an unlucky case given the otherwise positive reviews.

There really needs to be a way to look at the list of boxes, not just contents. I label how many boxes for each room I have as I go. I can’t find a way to look at a list of my box names to check what number I left off on. It would also be nice to be able to search a box list by name.For example, Living Room and it would show me all the boxes listed living room and I can pick a box and look at the contents of it in order to see how I previously labeled something, or to see which living room box I put something in if I’m not able to scan the code at that moment. For example I have already been moving completed boxes to my storage unit. I needed to check and see if how many boxes I have in that category and couldn’t. This is a really great concept and I’m all for it, but as I’m using it I’m noticing missing functionality that would make it SO much better and easier to use. I’m sure I will find more as I unpack also. But you guys are definitely on the right track.

Cool idea however the app is too hard to keep using it locks it down to fast and you have to log in a gazillion times to document everything.Let’s say I photograph an item I log it in and keyword it place it inside the box move onto the next photo log it in and so on each time the app logs me out and I have to sign in each time unless I can do it really fast unfortunately I’m a reseller so I have a ton of items to log into and it can take a lot to do a box. It would be nice to stay logged in.Another thing I dislike is I am not able to change my email when I signed up it took my Apple ID which is the same email for whatever reason it displays a different email for privacy which I know is an Apple thing but I want to change it however it doesn’t allow me to do so no matter how many times I try.The app is a great idea and really great when it works. I love the idea of finding my items quickly especially when it’s been a year I hope they change the log in thing and allowing it to stay logged in or perhaps allowing the phone to remember us while using the app that will Be a huge game changer.

I got these to organize my items that are in storage. The app was easy to use, one thing I wish they would’ve done, two stickers for each QR code, so that you could keep a log of your stickers in a physical file and not just the app.

I have moved around so much in the past few years and was so tired of not knowing where my stuff was. Now that I have these I know exactly what’s in every tub. I wish I would have gotten these sooner

Love these and the idea behind them. My only issue is that I wish the stickers were numbered or had some way to identify them without scanning the QR code.I’ve just been numbering them as I pack and titling the box in the app with the corresponding number.The app is very user friendly. Not looking forward to unpacking BUT, this will make it much easier, I suspect. Also love the key words. Much easier to find things with that feature and adding pictures.All in all, would not move again without these!

Well I just got these and just tried a sample to see how it worked. It will take time to do this quickly and I’ll learn with each QR label. Loving it all so far. Can’t wait to go through my Christmas boxes. Happy to work on these.
