I bought the 3 PC set in purple for a plane trip. I liked every part of this luggage. Very stylish. There are a lot of pockets for shoes and misc items. The large cases are deep and roomy. I had no trouble pulling the cases through the airport. This is my first set of luggage with 4 wheels on the bottom and I would not go back to the 2 wheel pull type. These are easy to maneuver and light weight. The color is dark purple with black over tone. The best piece is the carry on bag. It's deep with lots of pockets and has a hard frame so it keeps It's shape, again very roomy. I especially liked the side opening for easy accsess. This piece only has 2 wheels so it's a pull type vs a push. The pop-up handles on all pcs where long and easily accessible and easy to retract. This was the first time using this set and I didn't see any scuffing or damage on the outside from loading the luggage. Time will tell. The only thing I didn't like were all the tassels on the zipper pulls. They look nice but get in the way. They're clip on so I removed them with no problem. I would recommend this luggage.

I hesitated to pay this much for luggage, but it’s worth every Penny and sone!! Thus luggage is simply beautiful and the quality is bar none. I saw one review describing it as “flimsy”; please ignore. It’s even better than advertised. In the video I only had one free hand, but unzipping is seamless. I opened that part to show where it expands. I can’t adequately emphasize how pretty this set is. Also, the two smaller pieces fit inside the largest piece. The material is sone form of nylon, and it’s very sturdy and durable. It glides whole rolling it. It serves its purpose well and is SO stylish. IT’s A MUST HAVE!!

I have watched this Madden, as have I the Kathy Van Zeeland luggage sets for months, comparing , prices, pieces, colors and availability. I jumped on this three piece set (“used in good condition”) because of the astounding price reduction being more than $100. As a “not afraid of color” individual I had ultimately passed on all of the black collections although in these brands, even black pieces are distinctive. I like change, and had decided to set aside my vintage Ventura, 50 years old; but still in good condition. The only hint that this was an “available at other prices” was that it was cased up in a box for a different brand upon arrival. This Madden set is brand new, huge, and will easily hold double that of the average 28” suitcase. As opposed to the photographic depiction on Amazon the very deep purple color offered is brighter and yet not loud. No one coulf perceive it as the usual black or occasional navy blue luggage on the carousel at the airport.

So we traveled to Italy and made it off two trains and the handles broke on the first one. The next day, the others broke. They are plastic with a wire inside that will NOT hold up to travel. The London fog luggage has held up great! But this luggage was horrible. The zippers began slightly pulling apart the first time we packed them so I should have known. Very expensive any extremely low quality. Honestly, I've owned a lot of different pieces in my 47 years and Walmart brand Swiss gear held up better. This is like dollar store luggage that looks really pretty but it's not functional I don't have photos because we were forced to leave the luggage at different stations as it was falling apart. And yes, half of our clothing and essentials we gave to the homeless at the stations. Really there were no options

I’ve had my eye on this Steve Madden Harlo Black Luggage Set since last Winter when I “lent” my old set to a friend, who abused the bags and they smelled like smoke, so I didn’t want them back. I’ve seen this set and/or separate pieces at higher prices elsewhere, then found it here on Amazon and put it on my Shopping list. Then COVID-19 hit, and my travel plans were cancelled so I didn’t order. Fast-forward to the end of June…With a last-minute trip scheduled, I made the purchase at such a great price with quick shipping. Now we’re ba-ack from our first trip and happy together! Here’s why: The 360-degree spinners don’t add to the height of the luggage which is all-important for carry-on bags. They also were excellent for the necessary starting and stopping at the airports to navigate the TSA maze and so many travelers over the holiday while maintaining social distancing. In addition to the sturdy, maneuverable wheels and affordable pricing, I gave this set 5 stars because: 1- I wanted a set with classic lines that would still be distinguishable from other luggage in the overhead bin and on the baggage carousel without the loud colors and styles that are so popular today. 2- The design closely matches the overnight/underseat bag from my old set. (It’s pictured with the others from last night’s arrival home.) 3- Gotta love the bag tag that refers to shoes (always admired Madden’s shoes and accessories) because I pack so many on every trip! 4- The tassels are a nice touch. I hang them from the zippers for easy opening and I don’t mix up the open/expand zippers. 5- My TSA-approved locks slide right in the zipper holes. 6- The bags stack inside each other as they arrived for minimal storage space. ***Check out the pictures for all of the above*** AND, SO IMPORTANT: I had a minor issue with one bag. I reached out to the Seller and received an almost instantaneous reply from a Fashion Luggage rep who resolved it for me. I’m impressed with the product quality and the stellar customer service from this family-owned business based in the USA. I’d gladly do business with them again and look forward to many trips with this luggage, and I would recommend both to friends and family.

Well I purchased 2 yrs. ago the 2 big bagshave held up really well! I've used these bags probably 20x. The small bag actually tore and ripped after the 2nd. use. So it's really not usuable now. I'm not sure if I would purchase again. If they replace the small bag...then I definitely would purchase again. I just don't know where to contact them? Overall love the look and durability of the 2 larger bags, smaller bag()carry-on not briefcase ), was dissapointing.
