I’ve tried a lot of hair products over the years, and this is easily one of my favorites. The Suavecito Matte Pomade gives a clean, natural matte finish with just the right amount of hold, enough to keep everything in place without feeling stiff or crunchy. It applies smoothly, doesn’t tug at my hair, and is super easy to work with whether I’m using my fingers or a comb. I also really appreciate that it’s water-soluble, so it washes out easily at the end of the day with no residue left behind. The scent is subtle and classic, not overpowering, and it works great for everyday styling. A little goes a long way, and it holds up well throughout the day without flaking. The "medium" hold is a spot on description. Your hair still moves in a breeze, but bounces back into place without the helmet hair look that others can give. Has a nice aroma and just a little amount does the trick.

Tried this, don’t know how strong the hold is or if i have a lot of hair. Does leave a shine, not a lot. Hair within a few hours loses hold, wet a little to reactivate pomade but doesn’t hold when dry for long. Maybe i need a clay pomade stronger to hold for a slick back style

This is my favorite as it smells fantastic and holds amazingly well then it also will leave you hair soft not greasy or gummy like others. Easy to use and rinse off hands or hair.

Bought this on recommendation of one of my clients. Hands down best pomade that I have used. First off the hold really is medium hold and not the medium hold until it dries or something brushes against it like some of other brands. I have literally run may hand through my hair and it has gone back to wear it was or I was able to mold it back fairly easily. It is reminiscent of what all those hair gel and pomade commercials promise you on but don't deliver on. It also doesn't leave any greasy residue. The smell is overall neutral and not overpowering. It is water soluble so it rinse out after one wash and I don't have to lather more than once. Great product, would recommend. It has gotten me out of the scruffy bed head mode that i've been stuck in for awhile. Only downside is that I don't want to wear my hats as much.

I have a very short hairstyle that’s versatile. I can spike it, quiff it in the front, or comb it to the side. However, I’m falling victim to thinning hair. I needed a product that would hold a spike or comb smoothly and not have an unwanted sheen; I prefer a natural look — usually tousled, and I don’t want the hair to clump, calling attention to the thin areas around the crown. I’ve tried many products. Oil-based are way too shiny. Waxes are too heavy. Cremes don’t hold well for me. Clays generally leave my hair too dry, and tend to not perform well for finely combed styles. But this stuff — goes in smooth, distributes evenly, puts my hair exactly where I direct it, can comb in or tousle in equally well. This product is neither greasy nor dry in the hair. And it doesn’t weigh down my fine locks. Washing out is almost a sin, it’s so easy. And the scent is great. As an added incentive, it’s affordable! I’ve been using this product for about a week, and it does dry, damp, blow dry equally well. This may become my go-to product. But be aware — it really is matte (but in a healthy way, not a fake way). It really looks like nothing’s in my hair. This product really does what it says it does.

Its nice for hair

Bought this for my partner, who has really thick, short (4-5cm), and slightly wavy hair. Although the product has a good texture and is easy to work into the hair, it has no real lasting power in terms of hold. His hair ends up flopping onto his forehead mid day, and after a couple of weeks of using it, his forehead started breaking out. He has tried it both on dry and damp hair. He’s a low maintenance guy so he doesn’t use pre stylers, hair dryers or hair spray and expects a product to simply work. Personally I’m not a fan of the scent, it’s too strong and musky.
