Not that impressed. It seems rather flimsy like it would break easily.The problem with putting your camera in the middle of the ring is you end up with the light ring reflecting off your eyes. Don't even think about wearing glasses while recording from the middle, the reflecting ring destroys your shots. The light only works if it is above your head if you don't want reflections but there is no way to attach your camera below the ring. The other problem with having your camera in the middle of the ring is unless it is on a low light setting the glare makes it so you can't read any teleprompting you may be doing. However with this being said even with it turned to the brightest setting it still does not provide enough lighting. As cool as ring lights sound, get a light boxI also think the power cord is to short when the tripod is extended. The power inverter dangles off the floor putting weight on the power connection.I really tried to like this light but I can't see keeping it. I even tried turning it backwards and bouncing the light off a reflective surface but because of the way the lens wraps around the ring there is no way of avoiding a light ring on my glasses.

A nylon pouch for the standIf you do video or photos, at some point someone's going to ask for a ring light. It's a flattering light and creates that round reflection in the pupil that people want. I chose this particular light because I want a larger light and 19" seems the largest. It's well priced. It has option of battery vs plug in power, and it has dual color temperature. In use it's been real good. It's plenty bright for just about any occasion, but what's nice is that it dims to 1%...which is important to me. It does run on ubiquitous NP-F type batteries. It will charge your iPhone/iPad both on battery power and on plug in power. But it won't charge the NP-F battery when plugged in.There's always a few things they could do better. First, the diffuser panel clips on and does have the tendency to fall off. The entire light is plastic and doesn't feel sturdy. It's impossible to completely tighten down the iPhone/iPad mount. Despite my concerns about the sturdiness, it has no issues holding 2 NP-F 970 batteries. I do wish it would charge these batteries when plugged in. I paid $110 for this light and at that price it's a great value.

So I’m a content creator, and I’ve been using umbrella lights, natural light, and wall lights to film and take pictures (as you can see in the picture, I have a collection!). However, this is the BEST LIGHT I probably could’ve purchased. I’ve used ring lights before, but have never seen one with the option of using NP batteries so I can take this on location or outdoors to use. It was incredible easy to assemble. I had it set up within 15 minutes of unboxing. When testing out the light and color settings, I was amazed at how bright it was, even at just 25%. Best investment for your money by far. I’d recommend to anyone in need of a ring light! My makeup has never looked better in photos! Also love the travel case so I can easily carry it. It’s incredibly light weight!

I loved everything about this light, but it simply stopped working in less than three months. This was something I was not expecting from a $140 light. The window period for a return through Amazon had expired so I emailed the manufacture (Switti) and inquired about options for a return/exchange and they never responded. Disappointed!

This ring light was exactly what I needed for product photos. The stand and ring are large enough and bright enough to sit very far away from what you are photographing! I appreciate the bag that it comes with because it makes storing the light so much safer.
