Couple Quarter Quarantine: Polyguard's Value Revealed!
My Corydoras have been suffering from an unknown illness in my main tank so I've quarantined them in a seperate low-light tank and medicated them with Polyguard to help allieviate them of whatever is causing these issues in their health, the medicine has caused no change in their behavior and they swim around the tank and feed in the gravel like normal, I hope this saved my Catfish and I can put them back in the community tank happy and healthy!I was curious how much medicine this bottle really contained, how much a dose weighs and really how much you're spending per dose. This isn't written down anywhere so I got my precision scale out (precise up to 0.001g) and weighed 1 measure of Polyguard 5 times and averaged the result. This came out to be 0.1336 grams, 2.064 grain or 0.668 carot. Take your pick. After getting the average weight per dose, the rest was easy. A single bottle can treat 7485 gallons of water, for a 20 gallon quarantine tank that equals 74 seperate quarantines (because you have to dose the tank twice 5 seperate times over 2 weeks) based on the current price of $37.52 a single dose costs about 5 cents and a single gallon costs half a cent, a pretty good deal considering this medicine apperently kills fungus, parasites and fungal infections! Thanks for reading, and I hope this information helps other people out as I was unable to find this information anywhere online.Edit (8/15/23): Unfortunately this medicine helped but one of my cory cats still succumbed to their illness. :(

Product did not arrive with a lid.
Product was as described-outside of the no lid. I put the product in a ziplock to keep it fresh/spilling. I wish it had a lid. It arrived later then I would have liked, my fish did not make it. No fault of this product. Seems like a good value.

Works so well
I had new fish and some were sick and looking like dying. Ingot this and put it in and within 48 hrs there was great e at improvement. Now after days 3 and 4 the fish are completely healthy and active. Plus for the price and as little as you use, this will last me forever!

Great product!
This is so much more cost effective than the metroplex I was using previously. My Oscar had hole in head disease twice. He is my first large fish so I have been learning as I go. Metroplex has worked for every issue he has had along the lines of bacterial infections. But with him being in a 150 gallon aquarium it was very expensive. So much more of this product comes in a bottle. And it treats a variety of issues. I love having it on hand. I just hope they don't catch on to its greatness and raise the price.

All my big boys survived from an unknown infection.
No symptoms and no nothing but my fish kept dying one by one! All my apistos 3 trios, 3 pairs, couple of threadfin albino acaras and 3 or so roseline barbs died one by one for nearly a week and I freaked out. My tanks are all cycled for a long time and we’ll established. I bought a dozen neon tetras from petco which might have carried something and I didn’t quarantine them this one time! That’s it, I lost around $400 worth of long living lives and I never forgave myself ever for that mistake I did! Thanks to polyguard! This is my go to treatment for everything now!
