I love that this calcium is whole foods and has magnesium for absorbtion! Because it's magnesium and calcium in one pill, it's a great prental supplement to take with all the other pills a pregnant woman has to take! 🤪

Nobody makes supplements like Garden of Life, in my humble opinion. I have Leaky Gut Syndrome and it is very difficult for my body to absorb the vitamins and minerals I take. I've had excellent luck with Garden of Life supplements. If I don't absorb my vitamin B, the corners of my mouth crack and bleed. Garden of Life's B supplement worked for me when others failed. And now I am putting my trust into this calcium. All Garden of Life supplements go the extra mile: For instance, their vitamins also contain some antioxidants, digestive enzymes, and probiotics... because they are so good for your overall health! So this calcium also contains vitamins K and D, which are necessary for the absorption of calcium. There is also some Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Magnesium (which works hand in hand with calcium), Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Boron, Betiane, and Calcified Red Algae. The calcium is from Algae - which is a fantastic source of calcium that is easily absorbed by the human body. Everything that is in this supplement is there to help you body get the optimum calcium absorption - and that is a very good thing. I have osteoporosis and cannot take prescription medications to correct it. Therefore, I take the best calcium I can find - and this is it! So why only four stars? It costs A LOT of money! I cannot afford to take this as much as I would like. Yes, it is the best. But bottom line, I cannot afford to take this on a regular basis - as I should be taking it.

I love Garden of Life and was taking their grow bone system, which was great. now unavailble on their website and Amazon. So trying to find another great supplement for osteopenia. I should have stayed with their other calcium that is part of the grow bone system. Those were 4 per day capsules. These are 6 per day and not only is that a lot but they keep getting stuck in my esophagus as they are going down. They are not capsules they are solid but not really smooth. I am a person who can swallow 2-3 vitamins at one time, no problem. Until I tried to swallow 2 of these! They also make me slightly nauseous. I'm sure they are super good quality and ingredients but 6 a day and being so hard to swallow..... may work for you but not for me.
