I use it as shelf for the bags of micelium when I grow mushrooms. Separates them on a nice high level. These shelves serve their purpose well. Very sturdy.

Bought three of these.I have some Homcom cupboard units which have facilities for only one shelf in left hand side. My expertise in drilling holes to hold extra shelf supports is sadly lacking.These are perfect to sit in bottom of cupboard with a shelf lying on top. I thus have two shelves in left hand side and only one unit with incorrect badly drilled holes. The shelf is to hold two lines of 22 dvds in cases.If only these three items were just a little taller I could slide box sets in on their sides. But you can't have everything the box sets have to lie on their backs.My plan is to slide an old thick book in first under the support then the box sets. My 74 year old knees mean I cannot kneel to see and pull out items from back of base of cupboard. Also I won't have to search for the box sets among the single cases.The fact the supports are white does not matter as I cannot see under the shelf. For my purpose they are perfect as there is less than half an inch clearance at the sides. I suppose if I was over fussy I could wind brown coloured sticky vinyl on the leg parts.I am over the moon that the width so perfectly fits the cupboard space. The direction of the top bars might have interfered with the DVD case but as I am putting a shelf on the support. My shelf space is 35cm deep so I will place the support to fit about 5cm away from front of the shelf. The old book is to stop the box sets from sliding too far under the shelf.

One of these fits perfectly in my freezer. So, I am able to put items underneath and on top. The other one is up in my study, with my printer on top. I can also put things underneath. Great space saver!
