These are tasty fried apples. Couldn't find them in local stores. Great addition to any meal, especially pork.

I love this product. It’s the best deal I can find on multiple cans of fried apples that are good quality. I’ve made multiple recipes with these canned apples. I’ve never been disappointed.

My husband loves these! It is hard to find these for under $10 a can! These were fairly reasonably priced so I wanted to order more, but this deal is gone!

I used to be able to get these apples locally, but our main grocery store stopped carrying them. So I turned to Amazon. They are more expensive this way, but I really like this brand for a cake that I make. The apples are always good, but for some reason, Amazon CANNOT manage to ship cans of anything without them arriving all bent! How can they send glass jars without breakage, but tin cans come dented? For heaven’s sakes, just put some kind of padding or something in the box before sending them to customers.

I purchased these to use in a bread pudding since even when I was sigthed I sucked at peeling fruits and veggies . So I fiqured this would make things very simple and I was hoping they tasted like the fried apples from Wesstern Sizzilin or Cracker Barrel. The apples where very good, nice and firm tasted like Fuji or Pink Ladies but the juice killed it for me it had a very strong metallic flavor along with a funky flavor I can not really describe. The amount of spice was a little light for my tastes but I like my fried apples with lots of cinnamon and cloves. Lastly the price is a little high in my book but then again its been a long while since I purchased canned fried apples since it seems local grocery stores/Walmarsts dont stock it anymore

Some few years ago, the local grocery carried this and I loved it. It had large apple slices in a thick sauce almost like a pie filling. It was a perfect side dish for pork. The apple slices were so large I used to cut them in half before warming up the contents of the can. I recently found the product on Amazon and immediately ordered 6 cans. Words cannot express how disappointed I was in the quality. I should have known something was amiss when I shook the can and the contents sloshed not what I’d expect from a thick sauce. I opened two cans and the sauce in both was like juice - - it wouldn’t even thicken with corn starch. The pieces of apple were so small it was hard to see them. I really don’t understand why any company would make such a drastic change to a beloved product. I opened two cans, so it wasn’t just one bad can. Glory Foods should have discontinued not cheapened the product.
