I bought this to help reinforce a folded edge for book binding. It works beautifully. After burnishing it disappears which is what I wanted as not to take away from my digital scrapbook page. I used the Martha Stewart plastic burnisher but anythings would do as long as it has smooth edges. I put it on both sides of the folded edge for reinforcement. It has a little give and allowed the pages to bend freely after a couple of times use. Perfect. It was hard to get the backing off the first time but once I did I just kept the edges apart and tore off what I needed leaving a lead. It is easy to tear and cut with the backing on or off. The one half inch width was also perfect to lay over the folded edge and have enough tape on both sides of the bend for secure holding. I will be buying more of this to use for book binding reinforcements and any repairs needed. I love it because it is clear and disappears when used. One box will do about 25 pages (11 inches) front and back without too much waste on the ends.

It does the job, I was hoping it was even more light weight, since I'm using it on thin bible paper, but I'm satisfied with how it turned out!

I have an old Chinese scroll and this worked really well in the back holding the front picture beautifully. I've had it up for a few months and it's still holding up.
