BLACK+DECKER Hot Glue Gun Kit, White (BDHT70001)

For most of us, this is IMHO the thermal glue gun to get. Here's the key point: it uses 80 W to heat up, and thus the glue can get really hot. And with thermal glue, you want that, because the hotter the glue, the better the adhesion. This Black& Decker here may look cheap, but it beats the pants off most glue guns that cost 3-4 times as much. Recommended!

Bought this following Projects Farms recommended value pick. Not disappointed, did exactly as it should at a fraction of the cost of the competition.

Heats up fairly quickly

It maybe cheap in price but it works great and gets very hot, around 380F - 385F, perfect for high temp hot glue sticks! Makes the Gorilla Glue work very well and as well as the Surebonder high temp ones I use for another project. Each company seem to use their own formula for the sticks and I am ok with that as I can use them for my needs. And this little full size hot glue stick gun does perfect!

Seems to be a well-regarded product. It is bare bones with a simple fold out stand (not a great one) and toggle switch for high/low temperature. Seems to heat up quickly and seems not much different than other glue guns except for the name-brand. It works well and I have no issues with it.
