They Work Great if You Follow The Rules
These pens are FANTASTIC and work great! They keep my handwritten letters looking neat and professional. :o) The downside is there are very few inks that these will work with; stick with the "washable" blues: Pelikan Royal 4001; Lamy Blue; Sheaffer Blue; Quink Blue and Waterman Serenity Blue. I've tested all of these and they all work. They will NOT work with dark blues, turquoises, black, etc.

Erases blue Fountain Pen Ink
Works *ONLY* for Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue, bottle ink or cartridges. Does NOT WORK FOR ANY OTHER COLOR in the Pelikan line. May not work for any other brand of blue ink; it's hit or miss. The eradicator works be chemically changing the blue dye so it becomes transparent. Works with other vendors *IF* they use the same blue dye *AND* don't add any other dyes. Vendors don't state the ingredients for their inks, so it's hit or miss of whether this will work for non-Pelikan brands of blue ink.

Did not work
Both Tintenkillers are dry. None of them work. I have used this for many years, I know them very well. But this product is defective.

Work great! Remove all signs of errant ink without soaking through the paper.
These work really well with the pelikan blue ink. Which comes either in cartridges or bottle. The clean up end doesn't soak the paper too bad, though you still have to wait 15-20 seconds for it to dry before rewriting. The only down side is that you can't rewrite over the cleared area with the fountain pen again. You have to use the ink on the flip side of this fluid eraser. The writing tip is a bit like a thin marker. The ink looks a bit different than the fountain pen ink but it isn't annoyingly stand-outish. I haven't used them long enough to be able to know how long they last yet, and since I am quite used to writing with ink pens I don't have a great number of occasions to use these. I don't know if they will dry out from non-use yet. I really like them though, the option to neatly and cleanly eradicate my penmanship mistakes is wonderful.

Homeschooling must have
I teach my kids still to write with ink pens and these erasers are a must have in our learning journey. The erase mistakes and write over easily. We used to buy them in Germany and I am glad finally found them in the US. One lasts about 3-4 months and I always stock up. Its a school supply we will never go with.

As good as I remembered
This only works with royal blue ink, guys LOL. I used them back in Germany in school 9 years ago, and they still work exactly as I remember! It never ceases to amaze me as it washes away the blue so rapidly (I know it just makes it transparent but alas).

Fortunately, when I ordered from Swift Stock US I ...
It's an ink eradicator and it works (for a particular type of ink, of course). What is important is that it is not clear what width are you getting. Generally, I would prefer eradicator to be F(ine), but on the picture they are marked as B(old). Fortunately, when I ordered from Swift Stock US I got Fine. They should work on any fountain ink marked as "erasable", they are all based on the same pigment and are usually called Royal Blue. For example, Faber-Castell has an ink specifically marked erasable.

First, you’ll need to know how to use this eraser before buying it ! If using fountain pens with ERASABLE BLUE INK then go for it ! If not, you’re looking at the wrong product… Not all inks for fountain pens are erasable and this eraser does not work with other inks ; ball pens, roller pens, it will be useless for that. And to those trying to write with this eraser, and eraser its own ink : you’re definitely using this product wrong because its ink must rewrite on the erasing water it’s using to erase in the first place ! So, don’t buy it if you don’t use foutain pens with erasable blue ink. However for fountain pen’s users, if you’re looking for a good eraser, I’d say it’s the best on the market. I’ve used it since I got a grip on it when I was probably 12 and I continue to use it at 35 ! Sad point though : its price increased far too much and I can’t find it in stores anymore…
