The Ulike Diamond Air U104 IPL Cooling Hair Removal Device comprises the gun itself, a mains adaptor, a fold-up pair of sunglasses and instructions.Before going any further it’s worth noting that the product comes with the advice that it is only suitable for use by people with pale to light brown skin colour, and hair colour that is between light brown and black, which is to say not pale golden (presumably this includes blonde), red, white or grey.The gun has to be powered from mains via the mains adaptor – it is not rechargeable.The product is very easy to use. Its functioning relies on achieving contact between the skin and the whole of the lamp lens outer surface to ensure that most of the intense light goes where it is needed, keeping spill to a minimum. A contact indicator on the gun’s body lights when sufficient contact has been achieved. The IPL lamp will not fire until such contact is made. The IPL lamp is then fired by the user by pressing a button on the body of the gun.Where the Diamond Air U104 scores particularly well over other – admittedly cheaper – guns is in its cooling feature. The pulse of light emitted by the gun is intense enough that it can heat the skin, causing some discomfort. This effect is mitigated by the gun’s cooling system which is constantly cooling the lens surface, and so cooling the skin where it contacts the light outlet. This is a very welcome feature. It really improves the comfort of the user’s experience with its pleasant cooling sensation.Other models I have used have not had this cooling and have been much more unpleasant as a result to use, and in addition have not been as small to hold allowing much quicker and precise placement on small areas such as the face.Updates will need to be added to this review regarding the U104’s efficacy; it has not yet had the time needed to allow a judgement. ( Reviews under the vine program need to be within one month and I left it till this to post but it realistically will take another 1 months use to know for sure that hair regrowth is appreciably less) The instructions imply that a period of 3 – 5 weeks’ use, once every 1 – 5 days, depending on what stage of growth-retardation you’ve reached, is necessary to effectively halt hair growth. After that, once to twice a month is recommended for maintenance.Improvements would be a longer adaptor-to-gun cable, although as supplied it is just about OK, and a second contact indicator, or maybe an indicator on the mains adaptor, as when the device is being used on one’s own facial areas, the contact indicator light is often out of sight.Overall a neat, seemingly robustly-constructed product which is easy and pleasurable to use.

This IPL hair removal device is surprisingly good if you are consistent and use it long term. It is not going to remove your hair permanently after one use. I have used it for almost 2 years and after this time there is a reduction in hair that is growing back and hair are not as thick and strong. My first disappointment with this product is that it plainly wouldn’t work for me, because my body hair, always pale and now greying, doesn’t have enough contrast to my skin colour. This limitation is identified on the Amazon product page, but only if you scroll quite a long way down. You get the feeling that you’re buying a really quality product - which is just as well, given the price you have to pay for it. But no matter how nice the design, the real question is whether it works. After nearly a month of using it, the answer remains uncertain.On the positive side, it’s not difficult to use the equipment – basically, it’s ‘plug and go’. But the procedure for using it is far less clear. If you read English then, apparently, you should shave twelve hours beforehand; but other languages (as translated by Google Translate) suggest you should shave between six and twelve hours ahead. As the whole process take planning and discipline, these differences are important. Similarly, there are five levels to be selected. But which one should you use? And how do you know when you should move to a higher level?Unless you're using this product in an area where hair growth is very fast (or have body hair that sprouts everywhere like something out of a werewolf movie), it’s going to take quite a while to know whether this product does slow hair regrowth. Right now, in the fourth week of trying it, we can’t in all honesty give you an answer. And so, at least for the moment, we can only give it three stars.

This product actually works! The hair on my upper lip stop growing; and my under arm and bikini area are so much thinner. Love the cooling it has afterwards. Very easy to use and comes in a neat box so you can store after use. I recommended this to my sister and mother as well.

Ho aspettato un pò prima di fare una recensione per provarlo, ma ora devo assolutamente farla per i risultati perfetti che ho ottenuto! Seguendo le istruzioni (probabilmente tradotte in italiano da Google traduttore) ho ottenuto esattamente gli stessi risultati che una mia amica ha ottenuto facendo l'epilazione laser dall'estetista. Sicuramente ci vuole pazienza e costanza all'inizio del trattamento, ma se si pensa ai soldi che si riescono a risparmiare non pesa poi molto.Sono felicissima di averlo acquistato!Lo consiglio vivamente!

Ich nutze das Gerät seit ca. 3 Wochen und merke schon eine deutliche Veränderung. Die Haare wachsen viel langsamer und dünner. Ich bin total begeistert. Será tiempo bien invertido.💶 Precio en el momento de la reseña: 338,23 EUR👍 Esto es lo mejor 👍1️⃣ Al principio no estaba muy segura del funcionamiento de estos productos, pero cuando lo usas te das cuenta de que es una gran ventaja porque el frío adormece la zona y no notas tanto los pequeños pinchazos como con otros modelos de hace unos años, que además se ponían muy muy calientes en el cabezal al cabo de pocos minutos de uso y eran incómodos. En este caso, ambos problemas parecen haber sido solucionados de raíz, y no usando técnicas de enfriamiento secundario. La segunda gran ventaja de usar un cabezal que genera frio es que cierras el poro. Los poros, al recibir el impacto de la luz pulsada se calienta y se abre, con lo que queda expuesto. Con estos sistemas de frio local se eliminan esos potenciales problemas.2️⃣ El cabezal plano facilita la cobertura de una gran superficie y en modo ráfaga permite cubrir cubrir más rápido las zonas a tratar.
