My dog likes these & quit eating her poop.

I have a 1 yr old German Shepard weighs about 80-85lbs who was essentially killing my yard each time he urinated. I tried 2 different types of Green lawn digestive supplements (Green Lawn and Pet Honesty) and both were just causing my dog to have severe diarrhea that were sloppy mud pies of poop that smelled really ripe and horrible. I cannot see the point of trying to solve the yellowing of the lawn and to create horrible mud pies of poop that we cannot pickup that also smell 5 or 8 times worse then his normal poop ever smelled. Having a fenced in yard means that horrible smell just floats in the yard until some windy breeze blows through. Nope no more of these dumb ideas, Ill go back to digging up the yellow spots each year and will re soil and re seed the areas. Way better then creating a toxic poppy yard just to try and solve the yellowing of the grass, which I still continued to see even after giving my dog 4 to 5 of these chew-ables each day..not worth it in my opinion.

I hardly write reviews... but I feel like these deserve one. I adopted my first rescue puppy a couple months ago, and she was OBSESSED with eating her poop! With this being my first time being a dog owner, I was shocked and appalled, also concerned with her re-infecting herself with worms. I purchased these and soon after she showed less and less interest I'm her poo, to the point where she hardly sniffed at it before moving on. I ran out a couple weeks ago, and guess what, she is fine dining on doo doo again. I just had to wipe poop that was caked in between her back molars out with a cloth today, so I was so very excited when they finally showed up on our doorstep! For a minute there, i wasnt even sure if it was the treats or perhaps she just lost interest in her poop over time. But now im certain it was the treats. The ONLY downside is the amount you need to administer per weight group. She's 5 months old and I'm having to give her 4 a day for her current weight. But since I KNOW these work, I don't want to try another brand. Plus the price point is decent compared to other brands. For me, this is totally worth it. I'm not down with poo munching and the anxiety it gives me having to keep a close eye on her to make sure she isn't sneaking a stoolsicle in a dark corner somewhere.

My dog took these better than another brand that I tried to give him. It seems that they helped to keep him from eating his own poo but not that of other dogs.

Bought these for our puppy who would not stop eating his poo, but it only slightly curbed his appetite. They're a probiotic, so it doesn't hurt to still give them to him as it's helped keep his puppy belly pretty regular (despite him eating a bunch of things).

Works well, but I found a better brand that works better

It started out with my dog my daughter’s dog being left with us when she went into the service and now the dog is ours.. She’s a baby, a min pin. It’s the first dog I’ve had that has acidic urine and turns my yard into a twister board game with pee spots. I knew there had to be something out there to take care of this before my entire yard looks like a twister board. I’ve bought this brand before but it looks different and it was a bigger container so coming to find it again I look for the brand and I found this in the container is smaller and now it’s a white container. I also noticed the smell is not horrendous like the old product. The old product in the black container you would have to shake and dump out one for the dog but don’t touch it because the smell was the worst. The smell on this batch is not strong intolerable so I’m wondering what changed and I’m praying this still works the same as the last batch. Also the last batch was squares and this batch seems to be little hearts or maybe I’m just imagining that. My dog loves them but I believe she would eat anything in this life. I’m gonna continue on the path of giving her one three times a day and making sure my yard does not look like a twister board game. What I’m saying is I hope this revised product works just as great. The positive is I don’t want to hurl every time I open it.

I’ve been using this product for at least 6 months on my 3 dogs with great success. Stools had been good, two of my dogs who had been bad poop eaters really curtailed the behavior. As of Feb 2025, something has changed with the formula and instead of the chews being a dark brown, they’re a light tan. They previously had a cayenne peppery smell, now they don’t. Now all 3 of my dogs have soft stools and the two are back to eating any and all poop. Back to the drawing board of finding a new product. So disappointed because this was working so well.
