Q: Will this work on 2001 harley? ultra?

To Whom it may concern sir/Madam no one have time to buy product, open radio or CD player and put back it is not working for 2008 Toyota Sienna, it is my personal experience, I hope you understand, if you have any question you can reach me at 617-306-8015.

Q: How well does this antenna work if it is hidden under the dash? Or does it need to be out on top of the dash to really have any benefit?

I wouldn't put it under dash, I ran mine through A pillar and stuck it on windshield behind rear view mirror can see it . Enough wire available . My antenna broke and it's a good replacement.

Q: Is this antenna powered? If yes how does it get power?

needs no power. Just stick it above your mirror on your Front windshield and plug it in to your radio.. I just installed it in a 1964 Fairlane and now I have a working radio in my car. Factory AM radio. When I restored the car I didn't realize the car had no hole for the antenna.

Q: Would this work onn a 2001 madza protege se model?
