I really like those noodles
I really like those noodles. I will be buying again. It’s a great alternative to pasta and it’s super easy to make. They do not taste like pasta tho. I don’t know if I would eat it with tomato sauce.

Horrible Smell! Can’t take it!
I recently tried Skinny Pasta and was surprised at how well it absorbed sauces and tasted overall, though it’s quite firm and chewy. So, I wanted to try this brand because it has relatively high ratings and reviews. To my great shock and horror, though, the smell coming from it as soon as I opened the first bag I tried was beyond words. It made me want to vomit. I couldn’t believe it! I looked for the expiration date thinking maybe the horrific smell was because it was well beyond its shelf life but no… It still has about 11 months before it’s expiration date! So, I thought let’s try another bag to see if the problem was just with that one. Sorry again to say but I almost vomited yet again! Later on, I had another family member open a 3rd bag to figure out if it was just me but we both felt the same. There is just no way I will ever be ordering this again. I purchased this specific brand too because it says it’s made in the USA…as opposed to China like the Skinny Pasta I positively took to. Never again though. I’m going to try the low-carb pasta made of hearts of palm next to see how that compares to the Skinny Pasta. The smell of this brand though just ruined my appetite completely.

STINKS
I have used many brands of the miracle noodles. This is by far the stinkies. No matter how much I washed, the smell, and a little of the bad taste, never went away. I have not had this problem with any other brand.

This low carb noodle product is the best so far
This low carb noodle product is the best so far; easy to prepare and better texture...but it is still not pasta as we know and love. A decent replacement.

Great product so don't give up on learning to cook them!
The "one star"-reviewers either had an ulterior motive for giving a bad review or were not able to follow the directions given here and on the package and by Dr. Gundry if you look for it! Yes, they are different from wheat noodles, we know that and don't taste the same at all. Just like there are "super tasters," there must be "super smellers" who can't get past the very slight odor. I put the bag in the sink with a strainer and open it there, letting the water (cold) run over them immediately. The advantages so far outweigh the disadvantages that anyone who does not want to give the time to "learning" how to cook these noodles is just not at all motivated to learn something new. The dry-pan step is crucial in my opinion so if you don't do that, don't expect the best noodles you can have. I do not microwave or parboil (did that once, tried skipping it and saw no difference), but rinse VERY thoroughly then drain and pan-dry which takes a while, but is well worth it. I did "cook" them in the sauce for a short while. Once, I put the bunch on the cutting board, cut them up and proceeded--this is a good step if you want easier to eat noodles or for children. I have used only angel hair because Dr. Gundry recommended that style and I am happy with it. The only surprise for me was that the quantity would not in my opinion feed more than two people who eat an average portion with sauce....but that's fine, too---want more, cook more.

rinse and repeat
We are very satisfied with the quality of this product and are getting ready to reorder. The smell is a little off putting when you open the bag. I rinsed them twice and then dried them a bit in some paper towels. Didn't bother to microwave, etc. Added them to our marinara meat sauce and they were great. They really don't have any flavor and once you add them to your dish the smell is gone. Believe me, if these were gross, my husband would not eat them. He loves my spaghetti and won't accept just any substitute. Angel hair is the only kind we have used.

Strongly advise against purchase
Strongly advise against purchase...but if you're hell-bent on trying, purchase ONLY ONE. It's not so much the smell...you can avoid, for the most part, the "fishy" smell as long as you don't stuff your nose into the package as you're opening it, dump the noodles directly into a strainer in the sink and douse with cold water for a bit. Don't be fooled -- the smell is real, and it's there, but it's bearable. It's the texture I couldn't get past. Kind of like a "popping" sensation - like I'm eating a worm or something. Ew. Relatively tasteless - I cooked mine in a cream/cheese/pesto sauce I'd made. Pretty-much absorbed that flavor, but I just couldn't do the texture. Bummed b/c I was looking forward to a good low/no carb noodle replacement. Guess I'm just going to have to do without. OH, ALSO: this gave me the worst gas I've ever experienced. Several hours later, stabbing stomach pains and gas. Seriously. It's not worth it. I'm mad I purchased a 6-pack of stuff I'll never consume.

Filling with no taste
These need to be washed but do take on the taste of the pasta sauce I put them in. Filling without the calories.
