The Atlantis Gene

Bought the first book as I liked the idea of the plot, bought the 2nd and 3rd to see if the writing and plot improved. Sadly not. I am not sure how these books became best sellers. The idea behind the books is exciting and in the hands of of a good writer could have been great. However I kept getting really confused, especially about the way people were moving between locations, and frankly what the point was of the baddies actions. Sometimes just keeping things simple and having a believable story line works better. Great science fiction often has to be believable to really hit the mark. Note to the author - you need to plan your writing so that the story flows and so things make sense. So much in the first part didn't make any sense at all, things improved slightly in the second book. A shame as these books could have been great as the author obviously has plenty of imagination.

Absolute garbage. What a waste of money.

Read the other reviews. There how helpful is that. There is little point in me going into a long review of this book. If you are considering this to read then you are already interested in the subject matter.It starts off fine and carries on that way. Unfortunately its as if towards the end the author had some urgent appointment to keep. The conclusion feels a bit rushed.This is a 3 parter. Am i urgently seeking part 2? Sad,y not.
