I bought this helmet as a result of a review I saw on YouTube from a rider in the UK. The feature that drew me to this particular model was the flip-down internal sun shade. This feature was absent on my previous helmet, and the hours during which I commute to and from work make the clear visor with the retractable sun shade extremely desireable. The fit of the helmet is very comfortable, and the model is lightweight and unburdensome. The air vents work well, and the removable chin gusset keeps cold air from coming from beneath the front of the helmet into my face on cold mornings. The quick release strap is easy to adjust, and can be easily manipulated with gloves on. The wind noise is no better or worse than any other helmet I've ever owned. The helmet is DOT, Snell Foundation, and European safety rated. Overall, a great value for the price (which according to the reviewer/vlogger in the UK is due to the Spanish company that manufactures these helmets being relative newcomers to the industry). My only complaint is that there are detents for the clear outer visor at the fully open or fully closed positions only; a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Update to review 2/9/2016. I have now had a chance to do some riding with this helmet and have found a few issues. First of all the seal for the visor was deformed a little leaving a pretty good sized gap between the seal and the visor causing a loud whistle. I was able to cure this by cutting a length of 550 cord and inserting it behind the seal, there is a groove the perfect size for this, you'll see it if you look closely. Once inserted the cord is not visible. Also this helmet fogs up worse than any of my other helmets in temperatures below 30 degrees. I had to ride with the visor up to see. However above 30 degrees the helmet was great. Comfortable and decently quiet even at speeds above 80. With the vents open the air flow was good. All in all a pretty darn good helmet except for that issue with the seal. A keeper! First off I was a little disappointed the helmet was made in China, the information provided in the description in Amazon leads one to believe it is made in Spain. However the quality of manufacture and the fit & finish all appear to be excellent. Based on other reviews I ordered a size larger than normal and the helmet fit perfectly; in fact of all the many helmets I have owned over the years this one feels the most comfortable. The lining and padding seem to be of very good quality materials and will be easy to remove and clean. There is no chemical smell inside the helmet from the antimicrobial used. Of all the helmets I have used this one is the most glasses friendly. The chin strap and latch appear sturdy and are well made and well padded. Both the primary and secondary shields are easy to operate even with thick winter gloves with a few moments of practice. Lastly this helmet is snug fitting but nothing is being squished and I don't have to rip my ears off pulling it on. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into this helmet and I can't wait to go out riding with it. Also the shipping time was amazing! All in all I am extremely pleased at this point.

I would like to give this helmet 4.5 stars, but I'll go 5 stars for the price. It ran about a size small on me. I ordered a Medium, and had to return it for a Large. The graphics on the helmet are insane. It is most definitely a MATTE finish, and I've even had people at the bar taking pics of my helmet. It has indents in the foam for the Bluetooth speakers, and there are holes in the liner for sound transmission. The sun shade and quick release strap are great, and work well. The one down side I would say is that in cooler temps. (say...under 60 degrees F...) it fogs like crazy. However, after adding the PINLOCK insert, I cannot make it fog, no matter what I do. For the price of the helmet, having to add the $35 PINLOCK insert is reasonable, and something you should do right away, if you're going to ride in cooler weather. All in all, I love this helmet, and recently found out my local HD dealership is about to start carrying LS-2 helmets, which to me speaks to the quality. Ride safe!

I've owned a few helmets in the 15 or so years I've been riding, none of them top-shelf, some cheap, but most around the $300 price point. Then I got this helmet... the styling, features, build quality, materials and fit are on par with anything I've had that costs 3x or more. First, the technicals. I'm a medium in most brands, intermediate oval (given the choice), and prefer the way SHOEI fits over Arai. This LS2 fits as good as any I've had in the past. Nice and snug, no slop when I shake my head, my ears don't bend in half when I put the helmet on, and no noticeable pain points after a decent ride. I bought it in white, the pictures show the decals as black and red, but there is no red on the helmet I received. That aside, the quality is impressive, you can find plenty of YouTube reviews for details but the gist is that nothing about this helmet feels "cheap". Now the style. Sure it's subjective, but this thing looks badass. Most helmets are either obnoxiously aggressive or look like something grandpa wears on his two-wheeled RV. This helmet strikes a balance between the two, confident without being annoying, aside from the four "LS2" logos begging for attention from every angle. The only gripe I have with this helmet is the lack of a detent on the clear visor between fully closed and fully open. I'm used to having an extra "click" that keeps the shield open just a crack to allow for extra ventilation on hot days. But the integrated sun visor makes this more of a nit-pick than anything.

I really wanted to like this helmet I really do. I ordered a large. I have 2 dual sport helmets, a 3/4 helmet and another full face helmet. They are all size large and fit well but differently. Unfortunately this LS2 helmet in a large doesn't cut it for me. The cheek pads had me squeezed in so tight I felt like a chipmunk ready for winter. The crown of my head didn't feel like it was well seated within the padding. The chin bar was so close to my mouth that two weeks of facial hair was too long to not get caught on the padding. I don't feel an XL would provide any additional room to be happy with the overall cramped feeling. Maybe on the crown the XL would change things. The jaw line and chin bar would be just as close fitting though. I can't say anything towards noise other than the padding around the ears was cut out nicely and I suspect would be a nice feature for a headset. All I can say about this helmet is I really wanted to like it. I wore it around the house for 5 minutes and keep saying "I could wear this. Nope I cant." I'll have to settle for a bit with the noisey bucket I'm currently wearing or the googles and the dual sport helmets without visors. Give it a shot if you must but I'll be going to a store and trying a few different lids in person this week. Maybe I can find another LS2 product. I really liked the overall build quality but this model just isn't right.

Bei ZUPIN in Größe "L" bestellt. Leider passt der Helm nicht. Ich habe bereits den gleichen in "M". "L" ist aber genauso eng wie "M". Kein spürbarer Unterschied. Rücksendung: Bei ZUPIN leider nicht so unkompliziert wie bei AMAZON gewöhnt. Mann muss, nachdem man bereits online eingegeben hat, nochmals alles in einem gesondertem Formular ausfüllen und beilegen. Es fehlt auch ein Vesrsandaufkleber. Kein guter Service!
