Our peaceful safe neighborhood has recently become a target for crime. Houses and cars have been broken into almost daily. So we decided to purchase a security system before we were hit. This was our 1st ever security camera purchase. I did not know anything about how to pick one so I did a lot of research and eventually decided on this one. We got the 8camera and 500gb hard drive.It arrived fast and great packaging.Hookup was a bit challenging and time consuming (maybe because this was our 1st) but took a while to get the cords ran. So patience is a plus for all brands I would assume not just this one. But soon that time consuming part was worth it. The picture is crystal clear even in pitch dark. We. Couldn't believe how good it was in night vision. Daytime is just as clear. We have it hooked up to a computer screen that was not being used and its perfect. We have recommended it to everyone . great system, crystal clear pictures and good customer service.Luckily,we have not caught anyone trying to break in our stuff that we have worked hard for many years to get. But if we do we will be ready.Although we have not caught burglars we have caught wildlife on camera. We live in the country/woods type of area and have seen our daily visit from our neighborhood bear as well as raccoon and opposums. I am attaching a pic of the night vision and one of our bear sightings. We only have up 5 of the cameras right now. The pictures are pictures of the screen with my phone but still pretty good quality.

I purchased this to replace an old wired system I’ve had for years. I got everything put up and connected. It was really easy to download and connect to your phone. Everything works really good on the app and is user friendly. (I’m not a very tech savvy person) I also used an HDMI cable to connect the DVR to a monitor. I had issues trying to be able to do anything on the DVR because the username and password weren’t working. I contacted support and Yotina was quick to respond and extremely helpful. She set up a new password and was able to get everything worked out fast. I can’t stress how much I’m enjoying this system and how happy I am with the speed andefficiency of Yotina from support. I highly recommend this to anyone!

Helped my friend install this a few days ago (I bought it for her for Christmas). Performs well for a cheap system, but isn't top of the line. Camera pictures are decent, goes together easily. Was professionally packaged. Has some nice functionality like the ability to sound an alarm if a camera's signal is lost.The user interface on the DVR is a bit sluggish but functional. Oddly it has no USB keyboard support from what I could tell. A keyboard powers up if connected but is ignored. Typing things like camera names or passwords requires you to use the mouse with an on screen keyboard. Navigation is not the most intuitive, though you'll figure it out quite quickly. A USB optical mouse is included, no need to get one.I couldn't find a manual for this exact unit (besides the quick start guide), but there's a few on Zosi's website for similar models that use the same DVR software and can be referenced. Some options in the menus aren't explained in any manual I could find.The only big issue we noticed was that the motion detection features don't work well in dim/no lighting, even though the night vision feature will get you a usable picture in these conditions. If you install a camera somewhere with dim lighting (such as a basement, where we observed this), continuous recording or triggering with a camera installed in a well-lit area is recommended.Cameras do make a noticeable "click" when the night vision comes on, and night vision cameras can be noticed in complete darkness if you look for them due to the faint red glow from the IR LEDs. The night vision/ambient light threshold seems to be a bit high too. For indoor cameras, I found the night vision needlessly coming on in areas that most would consider well-lit, which can be an issue since the camera only produces black and white footage when in night vision mode.Despite its shortcomings, I'd recommend it for people seeking a budget camera system

Let me just start off by saying the install was easy as can be. The picture during the day is absolutely amazing an clear as can be! Then came night time! Wow! That's is all I can say! I can see my entire back yard with no lights on back there as if it's day time! If you're thinking about buying this do it! You will not regret it! I upgraded from a old system I bought in 2012. This puts them to shame! Absolutely a perfect buy for a security set up!! 5 ⭐ on everything!

We’ve had this set up around our home for a couple weeks now. Overall I am happy with the quality of the picture set up of the cameras and of the DVR and the video display on our TVs. One of our cameras was defective and it showed a rainbow moving across the screen, once I reached out to tech-support they addressed the issue immediately. They said that they will be sending me a new camera to replace that. Overall tech-support has been great they are in another part of the world so I’ll responses happened overnight and get back to me for the next day when I read my emails.Edit- I wrote this review originally in November (it is now March) and I have yet to receive my replacement camera. I wrote customer service again and they said that they didn’t receive my email from me (which I sent). I figured it was coming from China so it would take a while to deliver but never planned on this long because of customer service delays.

Me gusto este equipo por económico y buena calidad, tiene buena imagen y viene con disco duro de 1 tb ya instalado.Me gusto por su fácil forma de operar el sistema lo recomiendo ya que cuenta con 8 cámaras a un buen precio y buena calidad de imagen, equipo muy fácil de instalar y sistema fácil de operar, recomiendo al 100% ya que también el envió fue muy rápido,

Excelente producto!!!El funcionamiento es muy bueno fácil de instalar.La visión de las cámaras es buenaTuve un poco de problemas con la guía del paquete por que se correlación con otro envío pero llego a tiempo.Son de aluminio las cámaras.Son resistentes, el cable de instalación es bastante largo unos 15 mt.La configuración de cámaras es un relativamente fácil.El único detalle es que no pude visualizar las cámaras por la entrada vga solo por hdmi.

Las cámaras a simple vista parecen de buena calidad, pero basta con intentar utilizar el software de PC o de Smartphone para darte cuenta de la bajisima calidad del producto. Youtube está plagado de comentarios de clientes que nunca pudieron configurar el software para visualizar las cámaras, y el servicio al cliente es simplemente ridículo, la empresa es China por lo que contestan en la madrugada, y contestan de la manera más inútil posible, cada mail que mando, no importa que tanto ruegue por una respuesta amplia y detallada, siempre me contestan con una corta instrucción vana, llevo 10 días mandando y recibiendo correos con esta empresa, y aún no me han ayudado en absolutamente nada. No lo recomiendo para nada, eso pasa por andar comprando basura china.Ojo: El DVR y las cámaras si son fáciles de configurar, pero solo para ser visualizadas en el DVR, y no remotamente.

Incluyen todo el kit de instalación, se configuran súper rápido, los cables son suficientemente largos para instalar las cámaras muy recomendable

Buena calidad del producto, fácil de instalar, la app para visualizar funciona correctamente, solo a. Considerar qué sé debe utilizar con dispositivos recientes para evitar que deje de ser compatible. La calidad de la imagen es adecuada al precio y solo me hubiera gustado que ofrecieran un DD de mayor capacidad dado qué el producto es de 8 cámaras y que se tiene que agregar la compra de cables de extensión ya qué el largo de los que se incluyen en lo personal me resultaron insuficientes.
