What is the diameter of the rubber pad?

3 inches. I placed 2" spacers between the ladder frame and bracket so that I could retract the leveler above the ladder base. I did this because I placed both on the same side instead of the same end and used the ladder outside on hills. That way the ladder stores properly instead of being slanted to one side.
