Oval-8 Finger Splint Size 11 (Pack of 5)

I wish I had discovered these a long time ago when my finger first started triggering. Now it’s so bad it will probably take a few months to resolve but thankfully I have these wonderful little oval-8 splints now, instead of the bulky finger splint I had been using which fell off all the time, had Velcro that caught on stuff & picked up lint, had to be removed for hand washing and impeded my ability to do things like type, so I didn’t wear it all the time.As you can see by the photos, this is practically invisible, and doesn’t get in the way of anything.I think it’s much more sanitary than the fabric & Velcro braces as you can leave it on when washing hands and applying hand sanitizer, and the smooth plastic is obviously less likely to harbor any bacteria than the fabric braces.I type on a keyboard all day at work, and it doesn’t interfere at all.I have long hair and can run my fingers thru my hair without it catching. It also doesn’t catch on any clothing, or on my dog’s fur when I pet her.It’s very comfortable, I don’t even notice that I’m wearing it unless I try to make a tight fist, as it stops my finger from bending that far.I wear it 24/7. It doesn’t come off when I’m sleeping.It doesn’t make my finger swell from lack of circulation.The plastic is smooth and doesn’t have sharp edges.It’s a perfect solution for a trigger finger, or any kind of finger injury or strain where you need to keep your finger mostly straight. My doctor gave me a few of these at my visit. I came home and ordered more so I have them on hand. Great support for trigger finger and lightweight.

I have an issue with trigger finger. These splints are worn at night to keep me from clenching. Sometimes during the day if doing close hand intensive work. Doctor prescribed. Much less expensive on Amazon

Perfect splnt for trigger finger

I jammed my finger while doing yoga and ended up with "mallet finger," where the first joint of my pinky was bent forward. Dr. said to wear a splint for at lease 6 weeks. A traditional finger splint kept coming off each time I took clothing on or off, and it was generally a big pain in the butt. I couldn't use a keyboard, it stayed wet when washing hands, was big and bulky and just generally not sustainable for 6 weeks. Came across these and it's a much better solution. It's barely noticeable most of the time, doesn't stay soggy and wet, I can use a keyboard, and it rarely slips off. It's a bit tight, but if it were looser it wouldn't stay on as well. If I have to wear a finger splint for 6 - 12 weeks as recommended, it's got to be this thing. Hope it works in the long run.

Just what I needed to comfortably prevent my finger joints from hyperextending. So versatile--can be worn a variety of ways to correct a variety of conditions, while still allowing use of the hand. I was able to customize mine even more, using a heat gun as demonstrated on the company website and You Tube. Although the price is "worth it" just because they are so helpful, I actually feel that they are way over-priced given the simplicity of the design and minimal amount of plastic involved.

I have arthritis in my hands and sometimes have flare ups in my finger joints. Through the years, some of my finger joints have moved. My physical therapist and rheumatologist recommended I use this pm in on my finger to help bring the affected finger joint back in place to help relieve the pain of arthritis.

My DO gave me one of these to prevent bending the ring finger on my right hand while we treat a tendon inflammation. He sized it for me, so I was able to order more without worrying about getting the right size.Most comfortable medical appliance imaginable. It's 100% effective at keeping me from triggering the pain, yet I can wear it all day without really noticing it's there. I guess we're paying for the magic, not the three cents' worth of plastic it's made of.I note that (for me) the correct size is very slightly smaller than the normal ring size for that hand, because the brace actually fits over knuckle (PIP) joint, not where a ring goes, which on my hand is slightly thicker.If your goal is to prevent your finger from bending, these aren't expensive at all, as it turns out. Because they work like magic.
