What’s stopping you?
For the price these are really good and hard to beat. Good feel and stopping power in a very compact package. Put them on a 29 inch tire ebike and they can shut it down real quick.

Great brakes for the price point
Needed a new set of brakes for my fat bike. Got these hoping the 4 pistons would help slow down the heavy wheels with 26x4.8 tires. Install was easy and brakes were pre bled perfectly. Firm pull and great engagement. Stopping power is very good after bedding in the pads. Only negative would be the rear brake line is shorter than I would like. I had to route it slightly different to have enough length.

Excellent Brakes
I can't speak for the discs/rotors, as I was just upgrading from cable to these hydrolic calipers. But I can say for certain that they absolutely grab, and will lock up your wheels. They look great in yellow, almost gold. Several months later and have zero leaks and zero loss of performance. Build quality feels nice. Installation was not difficult, but I wish the lines were just a few inches longer for both calipers. I can also say that these things will withstand a mild crash, unless it lands directly on the lever or something.

Worked for less than a year, JUNK
Ordered to upgrade my bicycle brakes, and less than a year, they are JUNK. They do not work at all.. They worked great when I first installed, and now less than a year, they do not work at all and will not stop at all. I have gone thru a whole brake bleed procedure and still nothing, no pressure at all. ALSO, NONE of the universal brake bleed kits will fit this, the fill hole and drain hole are tiny and none of the universal plugs will fit, I ended up having to make a couple syringes work with some effort. BUT even after no more air was present, there is no pressure to the pads. Im guessing the piston rings inside the handle lever are bad, ON BOTH front and back... Front went out first, and then the rears stopped working. JUNK, DO NOT BUY. But that's my opinion on these.

Great upgrade for a budget build
The original cable disk brakes were not doing their job, so I replaced them with this set, and it made a huge difference. My bike is a heavy steel frame with 26x4 Fat Tires, so I needed something with some stopping power. The pictures in my review also show the upgraded 203mm rotors that I swapped out, but it was not needed because the 160mm was more than strong enough to look my wheels up. I did run into a few problems with the install, but my issues may be different from bike to bike. In my case, the disc rotor was too close to the caliper mounts. The screws on the floating rotor was sticking out a tad too far and was rubbing. So, I had to add some additional washers to push the calipers out. I did not have this issue on the rear brakes and it installed without any issues. Some of the great features with these brakes is that is pre bled so it was plug and play after I installed it. It also came with a brake pad spacer that helps you center the rotor during the installation. You still need to fine tune it, but I gave you a great starting point. The hose was motor than long enough for a standard size adult Fat Tire bike. I really like the rotating hose connector because it routes the hose very nicely, no matter how the brake is positioned. So far, the brakes have been solid with no leaks, but….. I am wondering if they have properly bled because sometimes, I need to pump the brakes before it works fully.

Great budget brakes
Recently picked up an old Specialized mountain bike and it had been upgraded to disc brakes, but they were terrible. Came across these while looking at a recommendation a YouTube made (the newer upgraded version of these) and didn't want to spend that much money. It's my first mtb and I'm not going to be hitting any hardcore trails.. Just beginner stuff. Install was very easy and with the correct tools shortening the rear brake hose was easy. Lever feel and modulation is great. Initial bite isn't too harsh if you apply pressure slowly but they'll definitely stop you quick. Definitely recommend these for anyone looking for good brakes without breaking the bank.

Great upgrade from mechanical brakes on a Specialized Rock Hopper
Arrived on time, easy to install on a large 29 wheel Rock Hopper, cables were perfect length. Used existing 160mm disc and didn’t need the base adapter as it fit precisely to 75mm frame base. Did not cut and thread through frame, used existing frame tie downs and zips, barely noticeable. As far as braking performance totally blows away the factory mechanical that came on Specialized Rock Hopper. Those original breaks were never able to skid stop and these are, a good indicator of braking performance. As far as performance over time we shall see but right out of box everything was easy and perfect. Make sure you order correct left/right combo as cable lengths differ by design. Also make sure to measure brake base and disc diameter. If you are looking to upgrade from mechanical these are amazing. If you are already using hydraulic and looking for better I can’t say. But a great way to leave behind all of the adjustments of mechanical and benefits of hydraulic!!

Just put it on the bike and go after initial setup and pad break in. The rotors look like floating style but aren't and I haven't had any issues yet for general trail riding. 4 piston stops my bike better then the 2 pistons it replaced and a better value then say the MT200.

Haven’t fitted them yet but what I can see they should work really well.

I bought these a long time ago, but didn't install them until a couple of months ago. I didn't know I was missing out so much. These calipers offer great stopping power, and aren't too expensive compares to other more well known brands like magura or shimano. In my personal case I didn't believe that much in the small 160mm rotors that came with the kit, so I went ahead and upgraded those rotors for 203mm front and back (check your bike for the proper adaptors). Let me tell you, after upgrading the rotors, the true power of these brakes came to life. I've put around 500 miles on this system in all sorts of terrains (mud, puddles, sand, etc. I don't regret buying this brakes at all, and I would definitely recommend them for someone who's looking into mtb and doesn't want to spend too much on a big brand brake system.
