Overall good price and value for your buck box comes with the battery a charger and 3 sets of Phillips screws. Battery fit exactly for my 3Ds and came half charged so you don’t have to wait and see if it works you’ll know immediately. So far the quality of the battery has been good I haven’t noticed any crash draining while playing.

I'm a big softie for my old 3DS – it's somewhere around 12 years old at this point. I noticed a while back that the back plate was bulging, and my system clock kept resetting to 1/1/2011. I did a bit of research, and turns out my original battery was out of date. Extremely out of date. Explosion risk out of date. Ordered this as soon as I could, and its been a life saver. Works just as well as the Nintendo battery did, if not better. It comes with the screwdrivers to do the repair yourself, and the process is quite straightforward: remove the old, worryingly bloated battery and the new one slips right into place. Console fits back together like new. Holds its charge amazingly – mine gets somewhere around 6-8 hours of game time off a full charge, and it's been around a year after the repair. I'd say if you have an original 3DS lying somewhere, and you haven't been giving it the love it deserves, freshen it up with this new battery.

The battery works really well as a replacement and holds a solid amount of charge. It's a great replacement for my old battery, I haven't seen my 3ds work this well in years.

Got this because I was in a pinch to replace my original 3DS battery that had become bloated (and thus a major fire hazard). Thankfully this kit comes with all you need to replace it, including specially sized screwdrivers and even an extra charging cable if you need one. In terms of performance, it's... okay I guess. It lasted about two and a half hours of gameplay and a half hour of sleep mode before my 3DS gave me the "low battery, please charge" warning. Looking up the official stats, my model of 3DS is meant to have 3-5 hours of battery life, so this *technically* passes, it's just not spectacular. If you're like me and needed the whole kit with the screwdrivers, it may be worth it for the convenience. If you're just in need of the battery though, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for better performance.

The perfect 3DS battery to replace the old one. Most of the negative views on here are mostly because people don’t pay attention that this is meant for the og 2011 3DS, so if you have anything but that, then of course it won’t fit your respective 3DS. It does the job and made the 3DS work again! Would buy again if I ever need to replace the battery later on in the future.

coming with the screwdrivers was such a nice touch, thank you so much for this. my original 3ds battery lasted maybe five mins off the charger and had begun to swell and stress the housing. this gives my 3ds some hours of charge like its new again and i've been having a blast getting back in touch with all my games. also, i was really afraid to do this fix myself at first, but its super easy. the housing on the ds is simple and the battery is labelled great, it was perfect. again, the little screwdrivers??? thank you soooo so much.

This was super easy to swap out once we got the cover off. The tiny screwdrivers worked well and the battery fit right in.

Requires calibration by fully charging and discharging once but otherwise works perfectly. It's not mentioned in the listing so I'm not sure how standard it is but it came with a USB DSi/2DS/3DS charging cable as well.

La batería sirve en cuanto a tamaño y compatibilidad con la nintendo 3ds clásica. Cumple el propósito, la batería original que traía mi consola de fabrica se hinchó con los años. Con esta batería pude darle una segunda vida a mi consola.

My old 11 year old battery in my 3ds lasted longer than the new one as shown in the test. The only reason I’m not giving it a 1 is because it works at least.

Product says it's for a 2ds/3ds but is too small to fit my standard size 3ds. Check your dimensions physically, don't make the same mistake I did.

I bought this at the end of June and now it’s flashing red and won’t work
