Great tool
Being made in the USA is a plus for me, but what I really like is the quality of the material and accuracy of the machining.

It's perfect.
It's just a slab of aluminum, but it's straight, solid, and cut perfectly for assessing neck relief on bass guitars.

Probably not Stewmac quality, but it will absolutely get the job done.
I bought this for doing setups on my bass guitars but didn't feel like spending the money for a Stew Mac fret checker. I like that it has a side for 34" and another for 35" scale length. It's appx 3.3 mm thick and is plenty sturdy. I have a precision machined straight edge and both sides of this fret checker sat flush against it. If you're doing several setups a week, probably spend a little more and get the Stew Mac one, otherwise if you're like me and set up your own instruments once or twice a year, this will be more than sufficient.

Heavy Duty Bass & Guitar Straightedges
Nice straight edge for 34” & 35” bass necks. Also included a guitar scaled straight edge, which I did not expect. I can throw out my cheesy guitar straight edges now!

Don't Pay for "Fast" Shipping
The product is good quality and works as advertised, however, I paid extra for "faster" shipping and it was a waste of money. You are already paying for shipping, save the extra because the product will get here when it gets here.

Decent Quality Neck Checking Tool
A bit more expensive than the cheap neck tools on here and I was concerned about the quality and straightness of those so I chose to pay a little more for this brand.Very happy with it, just over 3mm in thickness so it wont deflect and will stand on the neck unaided without being held. There are more expensive tools out there but they would be for professional luthiers not tinkerer's like me. This tool will help me set up my basses twice yearly easier and quicker than it's taking me at the moment.Seller is in USA so don't expect next day delivery if you're in Europe, it took about 2 and half weeks to reach me, but a good solid tool I'll be using in years to come.Very happy.
