I got them 2 days ago gave them a quick rinse dropped them in a grow out tank, I know I had a snail in there to keep the algae down but after 2 days of being in the tank with the "moss balls" it had 4 flukes 1/8 inch long on it, not to mention the dozens of flukes on the glass and the dozens of eggs left in the "moss balls" God only knows how many more are in the substratedo not purchase

The media could not be loaded.  I have a owned the moss balls for a little over a day and havent seen any parasites or any other issues.Any plant lover will tell you the rule of thumb and quarantining any new plant you purchase. Always keep new plants away from others and fish in case it is a faulty purchase. Do lots of research too. Give yourself a good week before you introduce to other plants or fish.Lastly, the description says at the end that these will be SMALL and will grow over time and that the pictures are examples. You can buy others at Petsmart or other pet stores. Call in to check.I will update this post over time if anything changes. But so far, it is a great purchase. 🤞 Hope this helps!

I will never understand how aquatic plant sellers advertise parasite and hitchhiker free, when it's literally filled with them. Not to mention the moss will crash your tank if you don't let it soak, maybe send directions with the package??

They came with tons of visible parasites, super sad was looking forward to them but not worth it.

All four moss balls came in one small cellophane. Smaller diameter than a quarter/$.25. I’m very disappointed as the picture shows a woman’s hand holding a moss ball significantly larger than the ones I received.

They are good but they aren’t uniform balls. Some were oval, some had little pieces of moss sticking of the side, etc.

Slightly smaller than expected but overall good condition.

Gorgeous healthy little balls of happy!
