Before I ordered this cutter, I had purchased an oval shaped one from Tescoma.  It worked fine, but this one is much better.  Why?  Because the squares I cut with this leave less leftover dough to re-use later.  That means less work, which is always a plus.  I use it to make mini-maultaschen, for soup.  Works very well, and it is easy to clean.
