If this is the right remote for your television, it works great. I have purchased several of these and they seem to have longevity. I've purchased several not because they have failed, but because my dog likes the crunch. :( I have had no problems with connectivity or functionality.

My remote has been slowly becoming problematic over the last 9 months or so, and I just got tired of all the issues associated with it, and did a bit of research and decided on this one. It is a very good substitute for the original.It paired almost immediately - but I will say this: unless your old one is entirely broken, do not toss it out until the new one arrives. It needed the old remote in order to pair the new one. So, this also works as a warning for you if your old remote is damanged beyond repair or lost entirely, you may wish to go with a different model since without the old one, I'm not sure if you can pair a new one. You might, but since I didn't lose my old one, I still had it and was able to pair the new one fairly easily.The power button is on the opposite side, along with a few other differences, like volume, mute, and so forth so keep that in mind. You'll need a bit of time to adjust and teach yourself the muscle memory of where new buttons are compared to the original...but its nothing that using regularly can't fix.Honestly, I am very happy with mine and would recommend it to anyone.

My only issue is that the bottom buttons have been changed to Hulu and IMDb tv do not work they still are connected to Sony vue that no longer works. Was looking forward to the Hulu button.

Ordered this to replace an aftermarket remote I already tried (terrible). Pleasantly surprised. Buttons work much better than the "other" one I purchased. Paired seamlessly. Exceptional value for the money.

I have a Toshiba Fire TV and the remote started sticking and not wanting to click to the right. I saw this remote and took a chance! It was here several days ahead of time! I opened it up and put batteries in and it started working even before I paired it to my TV. One thing I really like is that the battery cover does not slide off like the other did and it has a little more tactile feel to it so it easier to grip also!!

I ordered this because my other remote was having issues, despite the batteries being changed. I was disappointed in this remote because I couldn't get the voice recognition to pair with my TV, and the "mouse" feature was too fast and isn't programmable to request the cursor to be slower. I am returning it. A new true remote will be more expensive, but I recommend contacting Toshiba directly (this is what I did) and speaking with a person about a new remote. They supplied me with the part number and a site where I could purchase a new remote.

This remote has the voice control feature. Set up was very easy with my Toshiba television. Arrived in one day to replace original remote I dropped and broke. I could not even use the tv without a remote. I purchased a silicone remote cover for this new remote so if I drop it on my wood floor it won't break.

We needed a replacement remote. This one did the trick. Just like the original.
