I was pleasantly surprised but the quality of manufacturing for such a great price.

What I like best is the quality to price ratio. Low price good quality. It’s also nice the crimping style inserts, makes life easier.

I originally logged on to give these crimpers a scathing review about just how awful they are. Be before I clicked submit and considering the other good reviews it was apparent to me that the only bad tool in the process was me. I admit I struggled to get a good crimp with 12 gauge non insulated connectors for about 2 hours. The tool doesn't indicate exactly which dies to use with what type of connector. Having been positive I was using the right die, the crimps were coming out all kinds of funky. So I persevered prior to submitting my bad review and it wasn't until I finally found the right die to use with the connectors that I was using that I finally was able to repeatedly and quickly create perfect, strong, professional and I'd go so far as to say "Pretty" crimps that would make my Mama proud. There is nothing wrong with this tool and if you are unable to get the results that you desire, then I'd have to say that the faulty tool (like me) is the one operating these crimping pliers and not the pliers themselves. So for the price, and given the wide range of connector types that this tool must be able to crimp given the number of dies included, this is a solid tool for the money. I had about 30 connectors to crimp and by number 5 I was able to make them work as if I was born with this tool in my hand. All kidding aside, I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to crimp every once in a while or if you have a fairly large number of ends to crimp. Pics are of a 12 gauge wire. This was only the 2nd one I did. They got nicer as I got more practice.

I wanted a crimping tool for a long time, but could not rationalize spending that much for one tool. This offered a variety of crimping functions with 5 different dies. Problem is I did not want to waste connectors trying to figure out which one was the proper one for the specific connector. The documentation on the comapany website lists the 5 different dies that should be included, as does the Amazon site. The dies included did not match the dies indicated. It really made no difference as I could not figure out which one to use anyway. I wanted to crimp some solar panel connectors, and Arrghh messed up the first one. I could not mash a bunch figuring out which tool to use, so decided to return it rather than get irritated at having to buy so many connectors just to crimp a few properly. If you can figure out which pairs of dies to use, it should be a good tool. I only wanted a couple, solar, and the insulated spade male/female, and maybe some larger circle fittings. Simplificate, maybe.

Good value for the price considering a die cost more than this tool with the die installed.

Bought these to supplement a set that has jaws for only one type of crimp. These work ok they don’t seem to crimp the same terminals as tight as the others I have. For that crimp, a w type crimp I use my old set. To get the crimp tighter have to use the next smaller size after the first crimp, then terminal gets stuck. These are good for what they do. Wish the crimps were tighter.

I read the other reviews and was a little hesitant about the purchase, however I have been very pleased, no mold in the case, the screw to hold the plates in works fine, it's crimps very well, what more could you ask

I was worry about the quality of this product because the previus reviews but the price and the multifunctionality said Laszlo give it a try.It works. It arrives with 5 different set of jaws and a little screwdriver. All of them in a carry case.A previous reviewer said he experienced muld in the case. Me too. See the picture. Anyway the case is not smart enough.I will just drop it in my tool box and I save a lot of space. The case is already in the bin.The tool can make good pressure on pretty everything.I will update this review if I pressed any bigger size stuff.

Just what i've been looking for, good selection of dies and a cracking case, robust and well worked out.Can definitely recommend

real handy set for an electrician to have coves all the terminals I have come across well pleased.
