Did anyone have any issues when carry it on an airplane? Its size is bigger than the minimum acceptable in almost all airplanes.

I carried mine on one of the smaller planes( 4 rows) I didn't have any issues

ALL DUAL ZIPPERS THAT KEEP SLIDING APART. THEY MUST BE SECURED TOGETHER WITH A CLIP OTHERWISE CONTENTS WILL FALL FROM EACH COMPARTMENT. YOU WILL NOT KNOW WHEN ITEMS FALL OUT UNLESS THEY HIT YOU BEFORE IT LANDS ON THE GROUND. CAUTION: EXTREMELY EASY COMPARTMENTS TO PICK POCKET BECAUSE ZIPPERS DO NOT REMAIN IN PLACE.

Is the luggage strap elastic? Elastic degrades and elongates - that is my concern.

It is not elastic, but it is not very wide either. I travel a lot and this backpack fits everything I need. 3 laptops, a tech pouch, notebook, gadgets, vape and ejuice, small wallet with my ID And corporate credit card in the RFID pocket, and miscellaneous other items. It will sit solidly on top of a hard side suitcase with the handle extended, but if the luggage strap was a bit wider, I would be more confident about it. Other than that small issue and the need to purchase cushioned shoulder strap covers, this is my only bag I prefer to travel with. The sternum strap can be moved up or down for comfort and the pockets on the sides are roomy also.
