These pants are good quality with a nice pattern. I am a 33 waist and the medium fit perfect (without much room to spare in the butt, crotch, thigh and calves). This worked perfect as These are pants for stage performances and that's what I was shooting for. Realistically if you are a 34 waist you may want to trade up to the large. This is not thick material which is why they are so comfy. These are a step above cosplay pants and could pass as daily wear. I got the cream color and they really are striking. I would have given 5 stars but the buttons forced me to retract a star. First, the button slits are just about the same size as the button, making it nearly impossible to get them in. After a lot of struggling and force I got the three button fly buttons in. Getting them out was another issue. I know these may loosen over time but just trying to get the first button undone I found out that these metallic looking buttons are just plastic with plastic posrs. The post snapped off the first tike I tried to get it undone due to the force needed to get it free. I would have sent them back but I needed to add more buttons along the waistline for suspender straps and I was replacing the original buttons anyway so that the the suspender buttons matched the three button-fly. Incidentally the pants do come with an extra two buttons.

i wear a 34x34 jeans and i bought a large as i went by the size chart listed. large is to small and tight. sent them back for a xl and they fit fine.

I purchased these pants for a Halloween costume. They looked great and really added an authentic touch to the Victorian look I wanted.As for the fit, I typically wear a 28 waist, so according to the size chart an XS was recommended. I did read multiple other reviews saying to order a size up as the fit runs small. The next size up for me would have been a S and was out of stock, so I went with the XS and hoped for the best. Upon initially trying on the pants, I didn’t think they were going to fit at first, but upon some wiggling and adjusting, the pants fit great (yet VERY snug) and looked great. The second night I wore them, one of the plastic buttons did break off but luckily it comes with 2 extra buttons so I was able to quickly sew one back on before my event.There’s not a lot of room in the crotch area, so go ahead and expect your goods to be on full display. I would still suggest ordering a size up, as others have suggested, if you are able to. Overall I was very pleased with these pants!

I ordered these to go with a costume and it fit just right. I had no issues with any buttons coming off or split seams. They do not fit like normal pants because of the high waist in the front and low in the back. I did have to use the sting in the back to tighten them up so they would not fall down. There are no belt loops so the tie string is handy.

I waited anxiously for the arrival of these (overpriced) pants, in order to put together a cosplay design! Yes... it arrived, and (surprise), DID NOT fit, nor did the top button survive the initial fitting! This company should NOT be allowed to continue selling on the AMAZON platform unless, or until, they provide PROOF that they have a product that fits (according to the size charts) - for all country's measurements - and has periodic quality assurance inspections to make sure that they aren't trying to get over on the unsuspecting public anymore! ZERO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! And...the refund has taken MUCH LONGER than it was supposed to - to be reissued to my original payment method!

the first time I purchase these pants I thought I ordered the right size, but it turns out I had to send it back t get the right size. The design on the pants looks great, and I had no trouble putting them on until I try to button them.

They are handsome pants. They did stretch as I wear them and through the evening became looser and I had to pull them up often, so would be nicer with a drawstring built into them.

Pants are amazing! Fit great! The only complaint is the buttons did break before use just with trying them on to get my costume right. My wife was smart and she bought metal buttons to replace the plastic ones before the Faire so my pants would stay up!
