Yellow Mountain Imports Bamboo Go Table Board (Goban) - 2 Inches Thick

Q: I'm interested in the longevity of this board in drier climates. i live in co, & my 1.2" shin-kaya go board is parting at the seams. how's this 1? thx

I've had this board for three years and it seems to be holding OK. A few minor cracks and bumps here and there (bamboo is just really flexible). This isn't top of the line, but it will last you a few years at least, which isn't bad for $50.00.

Q: Does this come with a cover for the board?

I'm sorry but the cover is not included for this item.

Q: What sized stones are needed to fit this board properly?

The grid is 22mmx23mm, so a standard Chinese stone(22mm) is as big as you could play with.

Q: I'm sort of new to the game but anyone tried 4 player go on the 19x19 like taking turns and not giving ur same color hints on their turn or before?

It definitely works. You can even do 3 player go, just take turns making what you think is the best move for whichever color you are playing.
