Came exactly as described. It's a thick, quality chipboard. We decided to make a thank-you bunting for our wedding photos and this worked excellently as the backing for the individual penants. We were going for the more natural look with the cardboard color on it, so we didn't paint/paper/cover the chipboard at all, so I can't comment on how well it holds glue or paint. It worked excellently! I used it with my Cricut and it did take a couple runs through with a  Cricut Deep Cut Blade, 2 Blades  but otherwise, it was perfect!

These work great to prevent colors from bleeding through in coloring books. Also works great as a palette.

This is a great product for creating writing tablets. It is sturdy enough that you can write on the tablet without using table or counter space. Yet it is still fairly easy to cut to the needed size. I recommend this product.
