Little Golden Books deliver again
I don't know if it is nostalgia or what but the Little Golden Books (esp the more original ones) seem to really capture the attention of both my children (3 and 6). I enjoy them as well, as well as being able to find fav books of mine from when I was a child that are still in print! This story is very cute to talk about 'the people in your neighborhood' and teach them about how the postal service works. We got this book as a jumping point to get the kids to start making their own postcards and letters (and to teach my 6 yr old how to address things to Gram/Gramp and where the stamp goes, the return address, why it is there, etc.).Enjoy!

Wonderful little book for children!
I am retired from the Postal Service after 14 years. I still like to write letters and send them through the mail. I bought this book for my great-nieces so they will know how the mail service operates when a letter is mailed. My toddler niece liked the book so much that she began drawing pictures and writing I love you's and sending them in envelopes through the mail. I was delighted that the book seemed to inspire her to write to me. She borrowed a theme in the book and told her Mom, "Maybe Grandma's sister gets lonely and I could write to her."

Very poor quality book with scratches on top from browsers haven
I chose this rating since the previous book from browsers haven i purchased has similar kind of issues with the scratches on top of the book(The Little Red Hen) and i was tentative while placing this order, which includes "tawny scrawny lion","Tootle","Seven Little Postmen", through browsers haven and they did the same mistake again. This would be my last time purchasing any book from Browsers Haven.
