I bought these for my son reading fair. They were very detailed with the face. There was also a General Washington figure.

This set disappointed my nine year old grandson who made the following list of defects: poor quality workmanship, broken muskets, men that don't stand up because of bent bases, plastic was not trimmed, inaccurate American flag for the time, cannon wheels are wobbly, one man with upside down musket, man with two muskets, and British Generals' swords were different lengths. The American flag should have had 13 stars not 34. The British flag was inaccurate as well. The above defects diminished the fun.

I use this for recreate scenes of history social studies classes, and is awesome.

Bought for my DAR owned and self maintained Historical Custom House ( 1720.first and oldest in USA) in Yorktown VA We are located just down the street from the Yorktown Battlefield national Park. We are hoping that the many visitors children that visit us after there will buy. The bag of "soldiers" seem to be well made.
