CAMO Lever Deck Board Bending, Straightening and Locking Tool for Faster & Easier Deck Installation

My son helped me a lot with bowed out boards, but when he was gone, I had to revert to this device. I wish it had a red mark when the dial was on the bottom was out, but other than that...lock it down, rotate the arm and bowed board in place. Used the CAMO drive tool to screw it down with edge screws.

This tool aside me in assembling my deck without those unsitely gaps between deck boards. This tool helps to keep it all tight and straight.

As others have expressed, the black wheel can put a small divot in the deck board. I had some be bad enough to remove the stain, requiring me to reapply before placing the next row of boards. It definitely helped with boards warped a bit more than I could leverage using my own power + trying to faster the board in place. I wouldn't have been able to get the deck looking as good without it. Price seems steep, but I think it ended up being worth it. No experience with the tape others are mentioned, as I didn't use any. Switching between single and double joists was nice.

It works, Just not as good as I was expecting. We also Had an incident when it slipped off when tightening and damaged a very expensive Decking Board. So be careful when using on hot Decking boards. After That Happened I don't Use it much.

The devise was easy to use and it works well on boards that have a big bow in them. You need a lot of space to use this tool, when you get close to the wall you can’t get enough leverage to work. I think the handle needs to be stronger. My handle got bent!
