Ok - not quite what I was hoping for
I purchased these to replace a mini silicon spatula I've had for years. The original was a Christmas-stocking gift, and has a red-and-white Christmas sweater-type pattern. When I first received it, I thought it was cute, but more of a novelty item. I had NO IDEA how useful it would be! I use it for so many things, year-round. Now the (flat) wooden handle is getting a little rough from being washed so often, so I've been on the look out for another.I found this set, but...--the blades are much thicker and heavier. No doubt sturdy, but also less flexible. Makes it harder to scoop every last bit of mayonnaise or Nutella or soup, or... from the bottom of a container, which is what I use my old spatula for all the time (it works GREAT).--the handles of these spatulas are round wooden dowels--a little too big and uncomfortable to hold in my hands, and harder and slippier to grip.--I really only wanted the spatula. I'll have to see if the spoonula turns out to be useful (it's so small, I don't currently see how it would be.)I kept the set, but will remain on the lookout (I think the original one came from Macy's) for a lighter, more flexible spatula with a thinner blade and a flat handle.

label sucks
The actual spatula works great, but when I went to take of the label (which is embedded between the head and handle) it snapped off, leaving a little chunk of visible plastic between the two. Took me 20 minutes with multiple tools (finally used a razorknife to cut it out) to get rid of it. Now that it's gone, there is a weird little gap there too, where I could see scum collecting between uses.

Handle sucks
I hate to leave a less than positive review, because I really love this scraper. The ergonomics are great, it's a pleasure to use, and it's great for getting into hard-to-reach spots like inside jars.I bought 3 scrapers. 2 out of the 3 have broken at the joint between the handle and plastic part. After the first one, i thought maybe we got a weak piece of wood or i was using too much water to clean it. After the second, well......The connection is simply too thin to withhold normal stirring/scraping forces. Also, the wood is rough to the touch, which seems cheap. This would be a fantastic scraper if the handle were better.

Prefect mini size for getting every last bit out of a jam jar
I purchased a set like these at Sur la Table in Massachusetts a few years ago. I wanted another set but unfortunately Sur la table closed all its east coast stores this year. So - I turned to Amazon and very quickly found them. They are "mini" and just the right size for scraping out jars of jam or honey or any jar thar will not allow a regular size spatula. They are good quality - the rubber is sturdy as is the wood handle. I find them to be dishwasher safe but you may want to hand wash. My husband especially likes the mini spoonula - he uses it to get every bit out of the pudding cups. Additionally the price was right - just what I would have payed in store. I am very happy with my purchase.

Nice spatula. Good for mixing with heavy duty wood handle.
I've used silicone head, wood handled spatulas and broken some when mixing stiff batter. This spatula has a heavy duty wood handle that should hold up well to aggressive mixing. The extra long handle is also good for added leverage. The only slight negative is the way the manufacturer incorporated a tear resistant tag/label. It is difficult to remove, in my opinion, and when finally removed leaves a small gap between the silicone head and the handle which could trap food stuff. I was able to push (hard) down on the rubber head and close the gap.

Head doesn’t meet body, rendering useless.
Purchased it in April and was surprised that the spatula head is not flush with the handle. As such, it is impossible to clean properly, and hence goes unused, taking up valuable kitchen space. Requesting return/filing eviction notice as it’s been living rent free for nearly 5 months. I won’t file a complaint for freeloading if return authorization is granted.

Works fine. Cleaning, meh.
Difficult to remove the silicone piece from wood handle for cleaning. Almost like a vacuum seal is created and won’t allow for separation. It works just fine, but if you like to clean the crevice between the wood and silicone, it’s a bit challenging. I just think of all the bacteria that could be hanging out in there. Maybe I just received one that was real snug. IDKA previous Tovolo spatula design had a flat handle that I really loved. Where the wood and silicone met there were smoothed-edged teeth on the wood that would allow some air pockets and the spatula head would come off easier. I could then toss the silicone piece in the dishwasher and hand-wash the wood.

Packaging won't come off the spatula...
The label is deeply embedded between the head of the spatula and the handle and won't come off. I don't want to put a plastic label into contact with my food, esp at high temperatures. For $8 would expect a better quality item and will be returning.

Love this version of Tovolo spatula
I first bought a similar sized orange tovolo spatula on sale at a kitchen store which I liked so much and have already used for more than 2 years now. The hand is made of rounded wood and the silicone material is smooth and sturdy that won't easily come off unless pulled hard. As I have used several other types like plastic handles, flimsy silicone part that bend unnecessarily and come off the handle, I could clearly find these spatulas are great and convenient to use that serves as an all-rounder for heated items (with non-plastic handle) and non-heat items like cake making, etc. I later bought an aqua green one and then as these white ones are in sale as an add-on item for less price, I bought two more. I mostly don't use the other types that come in sets. So, these fit my requirement. I will definitely buy more of the Tovolo items especially that have brushed aluminium handles.

Almost the perfect spatula
This is exactly as described except for one minor issue which generally isn't much of a problem. The rigidity of the spatula should extend all the way to the tip of the spatula, like the old-style Rubbermaid wood handled spatula did. this one goes limp at the tip which is disappointing for scraping or deglazing. Other than that, I'd made the handle a little less bulky, a little slimmer. However I can't complain because the overall value is fantastic.

Nice spatula for the price
Very sturdy and a solid spatula. Gets peanut butter out of the jar with ease. very easy to wash. The wood handle really adds to it over conventional plastic handles and feels good to hold in your hand as it has a nice weight over other spatulas.
