I bought this because it was Anti Allergy and had a deep skirt. How disappointed I was the quality of this is very poor and the quality of the skirt of the mattress protector is not just poor but crap and when I fitted it carefully my fingers went through it when fitting the corners I would not recommend this product it is not fit for purpose. Typical of companies these days to keep costs down and profits up use inferior products. Shame on you Silent Night

The stitching around this was already split before I even took it out of the packaging. Wish I'd read other reviews before I wasted my money on this. The actual "mattress" part feels quite soft but the elasticated part is very poor, looks like it wasn't stitched properly in the factory.

Great Mattress protector, not the style i was expecting, as i was expecting 4 elasticated corners which this is not, its actually just like a normal sheet that you put over your mattress, which is a hell of a lot better than the 4 elasticated corners, just looks cleaner.Overall Great Mattress Protector

I bought this to replace a similar mattress protector I had bought from Debenham's, as I was replacing all of my bedding so though it would be nice to have a new protector as well. My mattress is a standard double (190 cm x 135 cm) but the Silentnight Double protector does not hold itself to the mattress at all. When putting the protector over the mattress, it is too loose and the elasticated rim does not pull into the mattress or cause the main surface to become taut. After only a couple of days, it bunches up with the elasticated sides having moved up from being underneath the mattress to almost on top of the mattress. I have to remove my sheet an re-set the protector every few days, which is infuriating. Also, only the top of the mattress is made from the protective material. The sides are just thin gauze. While I like the fact that the protector can be washed at 60°C and tumble dried, the fact that the protector will not stay taut renders this unusable. I wish I had kept my Debenham's one, which was made from protective material on the top and the sides, pulled and remained taut over the mattress, and could be washed at 90°C.

Incompetent is how I would describe it despite the fact I have asked for one with straps (twice I have the wrong one)
