Golden FoxSteel Toe Work Boots Men's 6" Moc Toe Wedge Comfortable Boots for Construction

I have struggled trying to find a comfortable pair of steel toe work boots. This was the best purchase I have made. I have only had them for a few weeks but they are super comfortable. They seem like they will hold up good. Working on concrete floors all day my feet and knees used to hurt. With the Golden Fox work boots I feel great. The soles hurt absorb shock and they feel awesome. It's definitely worth it!

This is the second pair of these steel toed boots I've purchased. They feel great from the moment you wear them with soft enough leather to make the break in period practically no time at all. I have both the brown and black pair now and would recommend these to anyone looking for a well made, great looking steel toed boot.

The boot is well made with good materials.I like the design, look, and sturdiness of them. Everyone, it seems has the brown which is why I chose the black option.I don’t recommend them for any roofing projects. The soles have little to no traction and after a good rain any dirt or sand you get stuck to the sole makes it impossible to have good traction. That’s the only situation, however, I saw concerns during my work day. So def not recommended these for winter days either, environments where your tread frequently on floors with slick surfaces either. It’s great for the job site, however, and has a great sturdy sole for when climbing on ladders and doesn’t end up pressing into your arches if you have to be up on one for a while.There seems be a little too much room in the toe box, at least with the size I bought because there’s some abnormal discomfort on my big toes because the opposite side of my foot doesn’t have enough surface area to prevent excessive movement.Other than that I really like the boots! I would buy them again even despite the slightly loose fit. The steel toe is a nice peace of mind thing.

Comfortable right out of the box, no break in required. Size was perfect and no imperfections in the boot itself. Been wearing them at work for over a month now and haven't had any issues.

So I just got done putting my first 8hrs on these boots. Normally I would wait a week or two until broken in but these are so comfortable that they feel like they have no break in. That's a huge plus because they will only get more comfortable as I wear them. One thing I have to bring up is that the wedge isn't as tough as others I have experienced because the way I kneel while welding in certain positions has caused the front toe area of wedge to already start wearing down. If you are buying wedges though you already are going into this choosing comfort over durability so I definitely wasn't surprised after I got home today and inspected them. I am known to destroy the toes of my work boots well before anything else gives out though so take that into consideration. I have tried to change my stance while in that position but being comfortable and confident while welding is extremely important if you want to keep your job as I am sure many of you reading this are aware. So for now I am fine with ruining my boots a little faster than most people do if it helps me perform that much better. Since it is so early I will update this a few months down the road if I happen to remember. As of now I would recommend if you are looking for a lightweight, breathable and extremely comfortable boot as long as you know these will wear faster being a wedge. They are the only style boots I will wear considering my back and feet end up in much better shape at the end of the day/week. Taking care of my body is more important than saving a little money each year so the trade off is a no brainer for me.

I’ve noticed that not a single person has said anything about the boots they receive versus the picture. The picture shows a piece of leather on the laces, indicating it is a “steel toe”. I’ve noticed all the pictures of the boots that people received not one pair of those boots has that strip of leather, indicating “steel toe”. That’s a bit of false advertisement no matter how petty it is. I was looking for that so when I go to work, my boss knows i’m wearing steel toe boots. (It’s required.) If I know him, he’ll probably step on it to test it. Anyway, that’s the reason for my three star rating. I would’ve given 4 stars had it not been for the missing steel toe indicating leather strip and the paper thin insole which caused me to buy some $20 insoles for extra comfort. So the boots actually cost me $112 which is a great price. At the moment at least they seem “ok”, I just got them.

Very comfortable boots , well made

As the title notes, these boots are slightly heavier than my last pair. But still lighter than steel toe Timberlands. I put my boots through the ringer and walk about 6 to 7 miles a day for work. So a comfortable pair is important. And these fit the bill. These are my third pair of Golden Fox boots and will likely not be my last. I will say that the stock insole is not the best out longest lasting. I do recommend you get a pair of insoles to swap out. And the first thing to go, at least in my case, was the outer sole, but that is likely due more to my use than the boots.Three for is true to size. The quality is not top of the line but definitely better than other safety toe boots I have tried at a similar price point. I can't speak to them being waterproof but maybe not super sealed. The are sealed enough to keep my feet warm on the cold by breath enough to not have a smell after several days use.

The last 2 days Vancouver BC Canada got hit with a huge snow storm 2 feet of snow. These boots were water proof and slip resistant. I would highly recommend these boots! The leather is great. The style is on point. The comfort is fabulous! Do not hesitate to pull the trigger on these boots! Hands down the best work boots I've EVER had - And I've had a lot of work boots. Thank you Golden Fox!!!

Around the ankle is a bit of leather trim that scratches my skin. I just snipped the corners off it and that stopped. Other than that they are top quality boots. Shame I have to destroy them at work. I will purchase another for casual wear.

I hope golden fox will reimburse me or exchange my defective boots ! My next purchase in footwear might not be goldenfox !
