Hopefully Im good for awhile
I purchased this with the intention of preparing for the more power hungry cpu's and gpu's because it was a good price, its very quiet and for reasons I can't explain because I'm not Steve from gamer nexus everything is running quieter and cooler. I dont know if I will ever need 1300 watts but I have it.

Easy to install and well made
The unit looks solid. The price is also good for the 1300w rating. Quite easy to install. Provides more than enough wire/connectors needed.

no es lo que dice
según esto es de 1,300 watts y se me ha apagado 2 veces entre los 800 a 850 watts, la verdad es que no entiendo porqué funciona así.

Always trust EVGA
My previous PSU was bought from super flower dead in one and a half years. However this one might also be made by super flower, but the warranty is based in the US. For the previous one, I had spent more than 2 weeks on the RMA process, and not worked out.

Loud clicking Fan 1300 GT and 1200 P3
I purchased one 1300w GT from Amazon but I decided to return it unopened because it arrived way too late. I also have purchased both the 1300 GT and 1200 P3 from another online retailer because I was having fan noise issues. Keep in mind both 1300 GT and 1200 P3 are pretty much identical I'm sure they are using the exact same fans. Inspecting the internals with a flashlight looks identical to me. The 1300 GT @ 1300 watts cant reach 89% efficiency at 100% load per platinum rating that's why they sell it as gold. When they lower the max watts to 1200w, 89% at 100% efficiency can be easily achieved hence the Platinum rating of the P3. Hope that makes sense.Anyway, about the fan noise, they are noisy making a clicking bearing sound. Why is EVGA advertising them as ultra quiet fans when they are not. I think mose people saying they are silent is because they have it on eco mode. I have 4 cheap arctic p12 fans and 2 silent wings fans with all 6 of them on it is much more quiet than these evga power supply fans which is running only 1 fan. With my 6 fans you can only hear air turbulence. Again I purchased (2) 1300 GT and (2) 1200 P3 because I thought the fans were defective but all of them (I never tested the 2nd 1300 GT because I didnt open it) exhibit the same clicking grind noise from the fans so I'm assuming thats how it was manufactured. EVGA please do not list product as ultra quiet fan when they definitely are not. They are noisier than cheap $4 fans. For the 180 - 230 dollar price this is sad from a big company like EVGA cutting corners. They should spend a little more on the fan quality. Corsair PSU's like mines makes no noise other than air turbulence. I am sure most buyers are willing to pay an extra $5-10 markup for better fans.On a good note, the 1300 GT and 1200 P3 are solid PSU's I overclocked my 3080 ti and stress test these PSU's for 3-4 hours pulling about 700 watts. No issues what so ever and best of all the coil whine from my existing PSU is gone my old psu (corsair rm850x) caused loud coil whine on my gpu, the PSU seems to whine together in sync. While the GT and P3 eliminated the coil whine from the psu, my gpu still whines but at a much lower noise. Therefore I am keeping the 1200 P3, i'll just deal with the fan noise by turning on eco mode. This review is from my experience only
