I like writing with a fountain pen and my Lamy pen had seen better days. I spotted this set on Amazon and decided to buy it as it looked smart and was reasonably priced. I was extremely pleased with it. It is beautifully packaged and it's great to be able to use either a cartridge or bottled ink (reminds me of school). The ink flow seems good and it feels like a quality item. I was a little worried about the bent nib until I researched the various nibs on the website....it's mainly for calligraphy or italic writing.

I'm really enjoying this pen!! The quality is fantastic and it feels very solid in your hand. The weight of the pen is nice and easy to write with for prolonged periods of time. The extra nibs are exceptionally useful for different writing styles.

Very happy with these, I've seen a couple of older negative opinions on the brand online but decided to see for myself, I started with the calligraphy set first then almost immediately purchased the fountain pen set followed closely by two more fountain pens. The sheer volume of ink and variety of compatible nibs and the converter strait out of the box make this a no brainer decision, they also look lovely in the flesh. Not had any major problems with any of the nibs, I did have a bit of a dry start on one but after a second cleaning its been flawless and very smooth on each paper type I've tried to date, from low cost printer paper to decent notebooks. The only negative so far, if you prefer to post your cap its not very secure which is unfortunate.

Supreme quality was immediately apparent as soon as I opened the box and was further confirmed upon handling the product. The pen wrote with effortless ease and comfort, gliding across the paper like butter. I tried the Extra Fine nib and it wrote very well, but not a fine liner as I would've thought for an EF nib! I didn't have to shake the pen to get it going; it just wrote straight away. I used the ink converter, which was easy to use. Good value for money, great ink flow properties, ideal weight rendering good balance in the hand. Overall, a very nice fountain pen set, would make a fabulous gift for anyone who appreciates fine writing implements!

Nice box, pen, nibs etc laid out very nicely, clean and crisp presentation inside including wet ink and ink cartridges plus two wet ink adaptors. Booklet and cards in a nice little folder, you are given a few words and hints on writing with your new pen and the nib sizes plus what they are best suited for. It's so nice receiving hand written letter, that extra bit of personal consideration from devoting your time and writing in beautiful script. Highly recommended purchase.
