It's Very Bright, But Lasted Only 11 Months In My Bathroom
⭐️ Brightness of this bulb met expectations⭐️ Dimmability of this bulb nearly met expectations, but not completely (it did not remain lit at lower dimmed setting; other dimmable LED and incandescent bulbs do remain lit at lower dimmer settings with this same dimmer switch & luminary)☆ Online product detail page did not state that closed luminaries reduced life span☆ Bulb gets very hot, and highly doubtful it can save $246 per bulb on electricity☆ Bulb life span was MUCH shorter than expected and advertisedI loved the brightness of this bulb, and that it was dimmable, however I bought this on August 14, 2018 and it died on June 12, 2019. A hard plastic part of the bulb near the metal screw part had broken off while the bulb remained stationary in the enclosed luminary I was using it in, I assume due to heat. At the time I decided to replace it, the bulb itself was flickering, and sometimes not lit at all. Despite that it wasn't even 100% lit, the bulb generated so much heat that I could not touch it with my bare hands after it had been switched on for only about 30 minutes.Q — How could a 14W bulb generate so much heat and supposedly save me an estimated $246 on my electric bill, as the box states?I know the box states that enclosed luminaries reduce the life span by half, and I'm ok with that even though it was not stated on the online product detail page, which is how I had to make my purchase decision. This bulb is rated for a life span of 22.8 years @ 3 hours per day for open luminaries. I have no accurate number for how many hours per day on average my bathroom light is on, but probably a little more than 3 hours, but definitely less than 6 hours per day.By my calculations, based on the advertised stated life span:❖ Even if the bulb were hypothetically on for all 24 hours of each day in an enclosed luminary then it should have a life span of over 17 months: ⇒ (22.8 yrs. ÷ by factor of 8 [since 3×8=24 hrs.] ÷ by factor of 2 for closed luminary = 1.425 yrs., or 17.1 months)❖ If it were on for 6 hours per day enclosed, then that would come to a life span of 5.7 years: ⇒ (22.8 yrs. ÷ by factor of 2 [since 3×2=6 hrs.] ÷ by factor of 2 for closed luminary = 5.7 yrs.)❖ If it were on for 3 hours per day enclosed, then that would be a life span of 11.4 years: ⇒ (simply divide 22.8 yrs. in half, for closed luminary). My bulb should have lasted somewhere between 5.7 and 11.4 years, unless of course we assume that the life span decreased exponentially for anything longer than 3 hours per day average usage. We have no way of knowing or calculating this because the manufacturer only quotes one estimated life span and mentions nothing about exponential decreases in life span.Q — When will someone manufacture an LED light that lives up to its stated lifespan, or when will a manufacturer not overstate, or simply be more transparent about how to calculate an LED bulb's true estimated life span?We are constantly overpaying for these light bulbs that are advertised to save us all kinds of money on electricity, yet my electric bill is higher than ever and all of my light bulbs are LED.Q — Is FTC of Consumer Protection Agencies testing any of these bulbs and taking action against false advertising?

Not "soft white"
The only LED bulbs at my local Walmart were of the "daylight" variety, with no "soft white" LED bulbs to be found on their shelves. So I bought a dimmable LED Daylight 100w bulb there and found the bulb's light was very, very harsh, not at all like the yellowish warm soft white of a regular 100w incandescent bulb. I returned it to Walmart. This bulb is described as "cool white", just what I was looking for I thought, so I bought one. But it isn't "soft white." This bulb's light is exactly the same as the horrendous Walmart bulb, just as harsh. Ugh! The bulb is bright and dims satisfactorily, just don't expect "soft white."

VERY Disappointed
I've used these bulbs for a long time but something changed. Even though the UPC is the exact same, these are not the same bulbs as the ones with the same part number and UPC number i've gotten in the past (not from Amazon). First, they're 15W, not 14W. You'd think that would be better but they're also "5% dimmable" while the description on Amazon says fully dimmable. Plus, they're smaller and lighter than the ones i've gotten in the past (they seem more cheaply made). They also aren't warm white. They're more like a daylight. Maybe the company changed how they make them or maybe these are the foreign version. I don't know but I'll be returning these .

Choose wisely, choose this bulb.
I purchased this because it is bright, white, and dimmable.. Forget "xx watt equivalent" stuff, look at the Foot Lumens (how much light they actually produce) and the Kelvin rating (temperature / color) to choose your bulbs. That said, I needed a very bright bulb for over my kitchen sink but didn't want to be blinded at night when I was headed to the fridge for a snack. With a quality dimmer, it did the trick. It is perhaps a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and this is worth every penny. In fact, I'm planning ordering two more and using them the master bath, also with a dimmer.

Lasted 2.5 Years
Good bulb. It's basically exactly the same shape and size of a standard incandescent bulb. Unfortunately, it only 2 and half years before going out. I would have expected a lot more life out of it.

Nice light but inaccurate description
It is a 4100k very bright and white light. It is not a yellow warm light. The description is not accurate. The Amazon description states 25,000+ rated hours, $246 in energy savings and 300 degree coverage. The box states 15,000 hours, $145 savings, and 240 degree beam angle. Compare the actual box photo to the photo on Amazon.

Bright bulb
The light is bright and in daylight spectrum. Good enough to brightly light one small bedroom. Pleasent for studying. Longevity, I cannot comment as I have this bulb only for one month

Very short life span
I can say that everything about this bulb is great, except for the EXTREMELY SHORT LIFE time. I had 3 bulbs and all 3 died within 4-6 months. First they begin to blink for a month or two and then they stop working commpletely. Not buying again.
