When you can't find the manual...
I saw a video where someone fastened these to various electronic items (radios and more) and set their phone to open the manual when scanning it. This I have to try! Tags and phone sorted, now just need to set them up

Super useful
You need to install an app for your phone but once you’ve set that up everything is quite straight forward for creating automations on phones. Some people have set theirs up for wifi passwords for visitors to their home, which is useful but I set one up in my car for a landmark near my home - I’ve not put my home address for safety purposes. So basically if I’ve driven somewhere new & am heading home I can just tap my phone on it and it opens maps with the landmark on it near my home.I know some people save their home address in maps but I don’t (personal choice) but that’s just one potential use, very handy for automations.

Perfect little NFC tags
Perfect for making your own AmiibosI use Tagmo and downloaded the AmiibosThen it's as simple as search for Amiibo select amiibo then click to write AmiiboPut the tag behind your phone it should auto detect and write too tag. Then once done you can stick your tag to anything you wantan example little one I look after has a toad collectable so I stuck sticker to its base now she has a fully functional Toad Amiibo.Or you can back them to card with Space between them and just scan them as you need too

I cant make these work, iPhone isnt reading them
Ive downloaded the app and managed to write data to the tag which is being read by the same app. however there is no background reading for iphone. i expected these to work like apple pay where you present the phone and there is a pop up with info etc but it doesnt seem to work that way unless i am mistaken. it looks like customers will need to have an app and scan for the tag to get the info which makes it pointless, might as well stick with a qr code.I left 3 stars as there may be a way to make it work but no instructions were included and the instructions online are wrong.

Work Great
These were delivered quickly and work great for my simple automation setup. I have them setup using virtualsmarthome.xyz for url routine triggers in to alexa for the times i don't want to shout at alexa, like when the kids are asleep.

This is Smart
I love these little guys. It’s still amazes me of what it can do. I used them to turn on and off lights in my office and the storage. Simply tap your phone against it and if it’s off it will switch on and vice versa. Only tricky bit might be to setup the automations, but worth it. You can do so much more with this.

Does not work on iPhones!
The NFC tag is not compatible with iPhones. I attempted to scan the tag in Shortcuts using an iPhone XR but was unsuccessful. However, it worked when I tried it on my Android phone.
