It has the consistency of bees wax. It’s hard to apply unless you have a brush. If you dip the brush in you can cover a tiny area then you have to put more on the brush. Not good to use unless you have plenty of time to apply

I have about 40% silver hair and recently dyed it dark brown. I ended up missing my old look and used this to recreate it almost perfectly.The color is subtle, but can be strengthened by using more of the product. I just used what I needed to achieve my old look, probably a half a teaspoon. I then used my regular hairspray on top to create the hold strength I wanted.I'm not a fan of smells in my hair product and this does have one, but I wouldn't say it's unpleasant. It reminds me of a shampoo they used to use at a hair place called Fantastic Sam's. I just can't remember the name of the product. It's slightly like cologne.Overall I'm very happy. My one concern is what happens if it rains and my hair gets wet. It rains tomorrow and I will update my review if that changes anything. I'm taking off one star due to the scent and the weak hold.

I really like is product. It give the right color. Not greasy or sticky. Messy when applying but you just wash off your hands and it last a couple of days.

I was extremely happy with this product, the coverage and color is amazing the way it made my hair feel is amazing. But the overwhelming fragrance is too much for me.

I was looking for a hair color for 100th day of school and this worked well but wasn’t quite what i expected. It’s definitely a hair wax and will set your hair in one position and it only colored the hair ok. I had to use a lot of it to color the hair. But it worked out! I’ll probably order something different next time for my needs
