You absolutely need to add a friction modifier if you have a true limited slip diff (friction plates). If you have a torsen or helical gear limited slip, do not use additive. It will reduce the gear bias, meaning reduce effectiveness.

What is the gl rating? gl-1, gl-4, or gl-5

Per the Technical Data Sheet: "Exceeds All GL Classifications: API GL-4, API GL-5, API MT-1, SAE J2360 MIL-PRF-2105E, MACK GO-J, PG-2 Limited Slip." It's the good stuff. I hope that helps! -Matt
